Hey TL,
My name is John and ingame i go by "eits" or "dragonpie" Recently I was promoted to Gold league 1v1 soon after the ladder reset after I had finished the season as #2 in my Silver division. I played a little SC2 in beta and got the game on the day of release. I started as Terran, got promoted to silver after about 5 weeks, and then took about a 4 month hiatus from the game, and that happened a couple more times. Now I have found my will to practice and get better again and have been playing Zerg since mid-December and have found myself where I am now.
Basically after all that background info I should just get down to it and say that I really need some help getting better at this game! And with me that comes in the force of practicing. Not always wanting to ladder by starting this Blog I was hoping I could get a couple of liked minded people to be able to play customs with and possibly some team games with. All I really ask is that you like to have fun and get better! I am on all day on sunday-thurs and sporadically on friday-sat. Also, please be at least gold league and want to get better at this game like myself, and let's get some games going!

Edit: I did not see the swarm of threads going around due to an apparent day9 episode. I love day9, however, I decided to write this after a long day of struggling on ladder and felt this was a great place to post!

So I ended up making Gold on the new account, which is fine with me because it will have a better MMR and I can hopefully move up quicker. The new ID is DarkEnD.119

goin great so far, go over 4-5 people constantly playing and asing for customs. slowly getting better. gonna use the dragonpie account as a learning acct and darkend for a true laddering/competitive acct. have a good weekend TL and remember to msg me to become practice partners.

By getting another account means you're worried about your stats, and that goes against Day9's #1 rule of throwing your ego out of the game before you start! Just sayin'

Hey, Day[9] has separate accounts for each race he plays. No need to feel bad about smurfs! Whatever makes laddering easier.
I'l totally play with you. Flytrapz.996 I think...I'll have to check later. I'm a gold zerg, too. ZvZ is hard.
