1) Code A winner is not going directly into Code S. 2) IdrA placed 4th in Group B 3) The winner of IEM World Championship will take IdrA's spot in GSL March Up and Down matches.
Win.
I personally like it, since i like all 4 players remaining, but it's not really fair for eliminated players in code A imo.

I hope that isn't true, say Moonglade wins or something, he was eliminated in code A. Why would he deserve that spot over someone who won a match

IEM winner in up and down matches?? zomg.
Moonglade, Ace, Squirtle, and Moon.... all of them in korea, so that works so perfectly!

I agree with the intent of your post, but by no means do Code A players prepare less.... Its fairly competitive dude, even to be in code A is srs bsns I am including Code A as "the very top."

Winning games were you were behind allows you to become a consistent winner. It's the same reason Idra will never be a great player. He gives up too easily. Jinro on the other hand, he seems to have the mentality of champion - hopefully he can win soon! Except that, Idra is a great player, which is why he's such a favorite in all the tournaments he's in? Like him or not, his results aren't debatable. As for the winner of IEM going straight to Code S, that's almost a bit unfair when you think about it... I mean, many players stuck in the GSL (playing for Code A) weren't able to attend, because they won their RO32 matches, lol
Going through Up and Down matches doesn't guarantee that you will get a spot in Code S.

P.S. The Amulet removal seems to be not only justified but also necessary, if the game were to evolve towards macro style. Remember that Stim takes longer to research with 1.3 as well, meaning toss has some more leeway on choosing techs in the beginning. I still think though marine's DPS needs to be reduced somewhat. Yeah, but removing the amulet is gonna force toss to go colossus, frankly I've read more complaints about the colossus being OP than HT...

the player gets to the up and down matches :-) not directly in code S because Idra finished 4th in his group they only get one chance to get into code S. otherwise they end up in Code A -)

I should probably rephrase. Idra will never be a bonjwa. Mechanically, he's as good as anybody else. His problem is purely mental.

this seems like an extremely intelligent move, considering everyone left in the tournament failed code a but will just automatically get to code s.
A+

The biggest problem actually is that Colossi are fucking boring while HT play is amazingly awesome to watch in action.

Let's be honest. It's perfect timing. Imagine the chaos, if this was not done. Also winning IEM is hard, the winner of IEM -> has beaten Idra (directly or indirectly) thus the skill level is well deserved.
