I'd put my money on not live. InControl seemed to be lagging behind seriously, getting excited for seeying stuff that happened like half a minute ago (quite hilarious :p) At times, i even had the impression that the casting itself was prerecorded. Like at a certain moment it was like "let's get into game x" quick fadeout and back and they're in a totally different composture. (not impossible, but it felt like a glitch in the matrix :p)

If you watched it live I'm sure you saw the chat was exploding with people expressing disappointment with this fact, as they had expected an actual live game. I mean, it's not like the Youtube casters hype their uploads weeks in advance. Replays have their worth, but live games are different. People wanted a live game. And since InControl's computer seemed to play the replay slighly slower, he gradually got more off-sync every second that passed. In the end it was really, really bad.

I wonder if nerves made him forget to switch the replay speed from fast to faster. Seemed like the casting was pre recorded though to me. I don't see an issue with this personally, less unforseen technical problems. People always need something to complain about huh.

The vods were choppy and the huge breaks between segments was annoying. The sound had this constant static in the background. The casting was off a great portion of the time, and the quality of the casting wasn't the greatest. They seemed nervous and the camera positioning missed a lot of action. The worst thing was the switching to the casters mid-game. They weren't doing anything or even looking at the camera so there's no need to switch to them, other than to boost their ego. Even the picture in picture was pointless, since they weren't doing anything during the whole show and it covered up information, like what upgrades are left in buildings, the cooldown of abilities, etc. They have a lot to improve on, but the idea of a NASL is great and hopefully they get their stuff in order and create a fair tournament for players to compete in.

Go to NASL.tv? No go to a justin.tv website where the ads directly support incontrol, and scroll back 4 pages until you find the horrible, horrible quality vod you're searching for. I think it will be called INcontrol's incredibly awesome hair vod. Real professional.
