I was browsing the sub-reddit of starcraft today, when I stumbled on a thread that was titled, "I will give you Starcraft 2 if you can give me a good reason to."

It was a self post by a redditor named Rorre. I've been in a really bad situation lately and I've been needing to keep my money very tight, this has been happening since the SC2 beta, which I was opted in to.

I've been wanting to play SC2 since the beta closed, but I couldn't find the money to purchase it and feel okay about buying it. I posted my story on the reddit thread not thinking about it...

A few hours later, I have my own copy of Starcraft 2 and I just wanted this guys random act of kindness not to go unnoticed. I'm not sure if he has an account on Teamliquid, but still. I see quite a bit of talk about how "awful" the SC community is becoming and I thought I'd share this kind gesture with you all.

I know! I can't thank him enough! and yes, I am excited to start playing! There is a SC2 LAN Tourney coming up at a local gaming center that I will hopefully dominate now. I was platinum in the beta, not like that means anything.. lol.

Wow, what a nice guy, good luck with whatever your bad situation is and a month (insert longer time period if necassary) wasted playing an exciting video game is definately a good way of keeping your spending low.
