...and I am sad because it means i won't be able to keep playing a ton of brood war ;_; Right now I am playing the most and best bw of my life; my ZvT in particular has improved a lot although I still have a lot to work on. I even reached D+ without fighting spirit being motw. Thanks to everyone who has played with me ^^
I got my 11-year old slow-processing-speed brother to play bw and he is adorable but AWFUL. Luckily I have the guide for complete newbies bookmarked... oh fuck the link is broken ;_; So, does anyone have a good bw guide for complete newbies? I am talking playing on normal speed, 1k minerals before 30 supply, losing to and getting nuked by the computer in PvT, queueing 15 units in 3 gateways, can't learn a build order level newbie. Every guide I find is way too high level for him.
Does anyone know how to do this (drone moving shot)? I can't figure it out, and it seems useful.
I still haven't beaten my record of 129 on expert in minesweeper but I feel like I've improved enough that if I played a ton of games I'd narrowly beat it eventually. I'm sticking with double click as opposed to shift click.

Also...is 'slow-processing-speed' a euphemism for mentally disabled? :/
I dunno what the "shockwave guide" is, link?
He is not mentally disabled, he is just bad at dealing with situations involving a lot of information. So like, he has no problems with fencing or playing cello but he is bad at soccer and starcraft.

Pretty much. It's the same technique as firing while chasing down air units.
Here's an extended first-person view of Fantasy's worker micro. It was notable to me at the time because I was amazed at his quick coordination and very precise clicks, and all for relatively little payout. Also probably because I wish he paid half as much attention to Pure's in-base proxy gates.
Reading this really makes me want to start playing broodwar on iccup again. I should... I love fighting spirit map. btw, haven't played minesweeper in a long time either. My record on expert is 94 sec. :D
