I got the hell out of bronze! After 362 games, placing at rank 23, I'm finally into Silver

It looks like I'm playing with the big boys now as the top ranked guy in my league has 2300+ points, but a not so hot w/l.
From my first game not knowing what banshees were and that those 'scan things' were so stupid in giving away my elite stack 2000 minerals and produce out of 2 rax tactics.
Now I can actually scout a 4 gate, 2 rax, 6 pool and know if banshees are coming and the like.I can micro units so they don't get chopped by zealots or let hellions get surrounded by lings.
Macro is tons tons better (not hard to improve on not making any extra scv's from the start of the game)
Progress, rewards, finally. I'll see you guys in Diamond

Keep it up and hopefully after a few more hundred games (or faster) you'd be in diamond.
From my own experience the learning curve in starcraft is quite slow in the beginning going into really high curve when you're below the top and slow again in the top I think.
You're going to learn more later than you are now. I didn't learn much from my copper to platinum (now bronze to diamond) run in beta.

or if u had real "skillz", you could had looked thru fog of war, always scout in the right direction and never get caught by a dt rush.
a computer will cost $500, another copy of SC2 cost $50, because getting banned for downloading real "skillz" is priceless.

I spent this evening practicing BOs, instead of laddering like I normally do. I don't feel I've improved at all, sadly. But coming here and reading this cheered me up a bit. Coffee and then back to it...

Congrats. The rating system can be annoying at times. Hopefully you won't need another 362 games to get into gold
