So today we went to church and all that good stuff, got our grades and then went home. School is finally over.. For this year atleast. But then it struck me really, what to do on the holidays? I love skiing, but would like to try snowboarding. Should I try to advance from silver to gold/plat? Should I go back to taking photographs? The possibilities are many. I have absolutley no clue on what to do during this break, and I've been waiting for it for ages.
School is bothering me, I really have no energy for it, and soon I have to choose on what to study. Can't really find a good sentence about it but I'll try to explain ^.^
In sweden you start school at the age of 7, then you're in grade 1. You got from 1-9 like basic school, and then you have to join a "gymnasium" ( a school where you focus on something, like, if you want to be a carpenter, if you want to become a doctor and so forth). That school course is 3 years. You have to go those 12 years, then you can quit or continue and study in the University. We're choosing for the "gymnasium", and I have no idea on what I wanna work as...
But enough about school,
What are you gonna do on your holidays?
Last but not least,
Merry Christmas!

I heard once you try snowboarding, you will never touch your ski gears again. It's that fun. Merry Christmas!

Well, it's alot of fun, I've tried once. But I only managed to turn to left. So it was very hard to learn, but I guess, if I have the patience I will, no doubt, try to learn!

I started skiing when I was 3 years old and switched to snowboarding around 13. For me it was an awesome transition and I had a yearpass every year since then until I injured my knee a few years ago. Now if I were to get back on the mountain I'd want to ski because I wouldn't want to go to the park anymore and risk hurting myself again.
I'd recommend it if you aren't too easily frustrated and have a day or two to fall down constantly and learn from your mistakes. It's a big difference coming from forward facing skis to flying down a mountain sideways with completely immobile feet. Plenty of my friends when I was younger became really frustrated trying to snowboard coming from skiing even though they thought their skiing experience would help them with snowboarding. Pro-tip, it does not.

Yeah, since my dad is norwegian and loves to ski he often brought me aswell when I was young. I love skiing but I'm ashamed that I haven't tried snowboarding before.. Thanks for the tips tho! I will try it out for real now

I picked "Natur" (math and physics and chemistry) and went on to Luleå Tekiska Universitet to study mechanical engineering.

Yeah well, I'm thinking about choosing natur aswell, since it seems to be the widest of them. But I really hate chemistry/physics..

If the weather is good I would suggest Sports and photograph. Get out and breath fresh air. If the weather is bad I hope to see you climbing the ladders
