The american players that are remaining, no ill will towards the others who have played already, because they are well above my skill ceiling, are the best of the american players on the team IMO. I would put any of left Europeans at the same level or higher than their American counterparts bar Idra, and Jinro/Ret on the same level as Idra. Also we have got our dark horse - BratOK who has been under radar lately, I have very strong feeling he is gona rock so I would love him playing Idra All thats subjective ofc.

I wouldn't say that slush is better than the other players on the team (he also lost 0-3 to qxc yesterday). But with Idra, Huk and Tyler you might be right. I don't know what to expect from the players in Korea (Ret, Haypro, Jinro, Idra, Select and Huk), but I think that Demuslim and BratOk could win against Tyler and Slush.

In another game that would be called "He's on fire" . Tyler is good. Very good. I think we can all agree on the idea that the remaining games should be highly entertaining

Maybe qxc simply doesn't perform well against zergs outside of America.

I'm sorry, but that is just not true. There are some European players that I think would make waves in the Korean scene and there are a few North Americans who will once they get a bit more experience. Just like the European play style is different from America, so is American/European play style from Korean. I can promise you on a TvZ I wouldn't ever think about bunker rushing a zerg 4 games in a row if it didn't work the first second or third time. That happened in a GSL semi Final. That is unheard of outside of Korea, but it's normal there apparently. I see the best players having the most variety and adjustment to strats. If one works great, if it works again great, but if you are on the losing side of repeat same strats or lost because of the repeat same strats then something needs to change. It was Jinro, who if i remember correctly, at MLG Dallas did not repeat builds in a series till the finals. Jinro, MC & at the moment Nestea for the "Heroes", one obviously isn't from Korea, and one (Nestea) I'd replace with a more experienced Ret or on a good day idra.

I think his drop-in-base, attack-expansion strategy is incredibly difficult to both pull and hold off. When he uses that strategy I think to myself, "Wow, can ANYONE hold that off properly?" Then again, other than that specific strategy qxc is just 'solid', not 'exceptional'. If people study his dropship play I don't think he can really challenge players at a high level. However, people don't seem to be wary of his playstyle. I think qxc goes into against against high level players thinking that he can't use dropships and such as much because they know how he plays, and that reduces his effectiveness. Against Idra on Scrap Station, who was definitely prepared for any two-pronged attacks, he did manage to get off an excellent drop in the base which essentially pulled every unit back into the base to deal with his drop, but waited too long to attack the gold. If he waits a little less (it seems to me he waits until he sees enemy units attacking his dropship before moving out with the main force), I think it can be much more effective, even against players who are wary of his playstyle.

Yes Ret who barely qualified for Code A will undoubtedly be the best Zerg player in the world.

He only tried for the GSL once, and qualified and made it to the ro32 on his first trie in the hardest one to get in. Sorry to say your post is ignorant because he barely qualified for code A really means nothing. (no I am not saying Ret is the best zerg I don't think he is but I don't think Nestea is either). can't wait to watch Idra/Jinro/Tyler play ^^

I'd prefer Tyler to play Haypro or Ret instead. This but I heard Jinro refused to play IdrA for this (just a rumor mind you). Could be because he's saving up elements of surprise for the Code S match against him.

Nestea is much superior to both ret and idra, in almost all aspects of play. Maybe ret, as you say, with more experience, can improve his game a lot, but I doubt he'll get to nestea level.

He's Top 200 on KR and NA with like a 75% win ratio. The dude is an absolute animal, you can never count him out. He was one of the top 3 foreigners ever during BW. Give him another 3 months and he will be S class and rolling over kids at GSL. On topic: Brat_OK is by far the scariest player left for EU (due to his style, imo), I really hope we can see him vs. IdrA. The only recently replay of him I've seen was the ret replay and he made ret look like a child while he multitasked like 5 independent drops at once. Truly amazing play, my favorite Terran. I also saw him use BC's against KiWiKaKi's Collosi on his stream a while back. Can't wait to watch him play whoever.
