However, great job on getting the sponsors it might not draw in people from Ontario or NE USA but it is going to be big for the local scene in Alberta. I hope more of these come. (and in Edmonton too, although it wont stop me from driving)

I signed up, but I will pay next week when I can verify I have that saturday off. Hopefully that many people wont have paid already eliminating my spot. But as far as I can tell only about 4 of the 30ish people registered have paid.

(and in Edmonton too, although it wont stop me from driving) Thanks, we have a great relationship with our local sponsors including The Blackfoot INN as we host our major BYOC LAN Parties at their venue+ Show Spoiler + . **Our next major BYOC LAN party is: Project X: Redemption! May 13 - 15, 2011 in Calgary** We are a local event group and this is our way of giving back to the LAN gaming scene in Alberta. Project X strives to promote a strong respectful e-sports community in Calgary first and foremost. It is great that we can push the envelope on cash / prize giveaways and really set the bar.

The Peregrine has been very supportive and the gloves are incredibly cool! You can learn more about the glove here: http://www.theperegrine.com/product/ They have videos on their site which I would recommend checking out as well. The glove is perfectly suited to playing a game like SC2 because you have all the control and features of a keyboard in the palm of your hand - it makes hot keys and shortcut keys so much simpler to use. It just takes a while to master

Pic + Show Spoiler + Look bad aas and therefore likely banned/kill your hand in SC... +1 on the tourney And definitely having someone the community recognises for the commentary (like Chill !) would be great. Though I'm sure I'll be watching either way Edit: ninja'd by ProjectX himself

A representative from The Peregrine may be coming down to the tournament to highlight it's features and have demos. One of our regulars was a referee @ WCG in LA and he said it was insane watching pro players use the glove. Here is a youtube video of it in action ... from talking to them people have used the glove in photoshop, remote cars, sc2, HoN and a wide variety of other devices. It is pretty sick :D (edit: found a better video)

I think you should check your facts before spouting this nonsense.
