well, it's getting closer to two years for me here officially registered on TL (though i have been a lurker for some time before that), and these two years have been filled with encounters and experiences i'd probably never be able to get via other means.
before that, i want to thank a large group of people.
1) FakeSteve. if it wasn't for him, i wouldn't be registered here, and would still be lurking big-time. and also to thank him for the really awesome time we had during his stay in singapore. hope your knee is fine now!
2) Other mods and staffs, especially waxangel, manifesto, losingid8, pangshai, hot_bid, chill, GTR, alffla, silversky, harem, boe, flamewheel, etc. you guys are all real awesome, helping out whenever necessary and being the right role models that TL needs.
+ Show Spoiler +
p.s: harem stop stalking me on iccup plz thx
3) the translators and other korean TLers/TLers living in korea, in particular (in no specific order): smix, mrhoon, ilikestarcraft, lilsusie, midian (jamie).
susie nuna and jamie hyung went a long way to help me get a comfortable place to stay in while i was in seoul, and really helped me out a lot to make my stay in korea this june an unforgettable one.
mrhoon, you are amazing. i really wish we could have had more time to talk. our time in korea was short
ils seems closest to me like a brother, that's just how i feel. <3 u for going with me to LOOX to watch SKT vs ACE together + Show Spoiler +

5) past and current translators, such as:

for taking over the torch and letting us burn out in peace
6) and other TLers and stream viewers such as:
nikoner
megalisk
cadical

darkrocket
gohyangee
quickstriker(really can't think of anymore atm, it's late here t.t)
but you guys know who you are :D you guys made my stay in TL a much more eventful one, hooking up games and talking trash in my stream chat
phew, that's a lot of thanking.
now, you may wonder, "how on earth did kona reach 30,000 posts!?". though i admit that a fairly decent amount was stuff like "lol", a lot of it comes from LRing.
i enjoy LRing, and i am glad to see that people enjoy reading my LRs too, making the watching experience even more enjoyable (though some seem to disagree ). my passion for good games can't die down, it's just the blood in me.
and speaking of which, i want to take this opportunity to tell everyone that,
brood war players, be nice to sc2 players. if you really gotta hate, hate the game, not each other. and conversely, sc2 players, please understand where bw players come from.
just hoping that both sides can get to appreciate one another. i've seen sc2 players come over to experience bw (and enjoying it!), and bw players playing sc2 as well. i myself enjoy playing sc2 once in a while to take a break from bw, because it's a challenge to me to start a new game :D
this also sets a life checkpoint for me, and something for me to think about. as i approach the important phrases of my life (high school exams for university entry next year, thus gotta prepare hard for the year ahead), i need to set my priorities right. i'll probably take a huge break from gaming starting end of december, gaming only once every fortnight or so, until it's real close to exams, where i'll just completely store my computer somewhere, so that i can truly focus on studying.
it's time for me to start on my career decisions as well. i've asked mani about some stuff regarding teacher, for it is a career i'm interested in, but some recent events made me think that i'm better off just going for a well-paying job. what should i do? because, yes i want something that i am interested in, but in the long run, i want to be able to do something that can make my children be proud of what i am doing, and to make their lives as comfortable as possible (aka lots of money). it's a decision i'm having a hard time making.
looks like i'm going hugely off-tangent here. anyway, this is my 30,000th post, dedicated to above-mentioned TLers as well as all the rest of you, who made my stay here on teamliquid an amazing one. here's to many more fruitful years for teamliquid, the #1 ESPORTS site.
