Uuuuuuugh I get all pumped to ladder (1500 diamond lol) late into the hours tonight and what happens? I play like shit the first game, a ZvZ. Oh well, warming up, it happens. Then another ZvZ pops up, I still play badly and die. Oh well, still warming up. Then a ZvT where it feels like he just walks into my base and kills me before I'm able to react. The same timing push before any lair tech that I die to all the time. Ugh.
Then a ZvP where I get lucky and kill his first zealot and the whole game swings in my favor, but not after he gets blink stalkers and uses them embarassingly cost efficiently until I finally overwhelm him. No gg from him that game, whatever.
Then I get a toss on close by ground positions on LT. He does the good ol wall in, so I spine crawler up and go for spire tech. I see him move out right when the spire goes down. Okay, this is just some early pressure. Nope! hidden pylon, 4gate allin, cut probes at 27. Die. I die to so many god damn 4gates it makes me want to punch babies. I've spent entire weekends finding people to 4gate me to practice against it, yet it still constantly kills me on the ladder. UUUUUUGH.
Next game, a ZvZ on jungle basin. Okay, well I'll send a scout at 10 because the 6pool rate, especially on this map, for ZvZ is like 50%. Sure enough, its the good ol 6pool. As soon as I saw it I was just blaaaaaaah. Like why even try to defend? The game is done. Either my pool is down in time or it isn't. So I throw down my pool on 13 rather than 14 as I usually do, he gets there as my lings pop, I defend it but not without losing enough drones to put me behind. I drone like crazy, he does that little cute shit where he moves out with roaches to force me to make a bajillion lings (I went banes but he turtled up good) And he beats me in a tech race to mutas.
UUUUGH. I hate it when nights on the sc2 ladder go like this. I just feel shitty after a series of games like that, and I wanted to vent it out. I don't have any RL friends that play sc so I can't vent anywhere. Just letting the feelings pass and get back to it tomorrow.
Ahh.. feel a bit better already.
