Recently, me and a friend were playing some good old sc:bw 2v2. We've been at it for a while, not really playing consistently or anything, but every once in a while, pretty much stuck at the D+ level (not necessarily out of skill, but just not playing enough games). Yesterday though, we decided to game a bunch, and even got a little win streak going. By the time we decided to pack it in, we were like, 50 points away from C-.

So today, we were like, "gonna break C- for the first time ever!" We were super psyched about it, 'cause hell, I've never gotten out of the D ranks before. After about 5 minutes we get into a game. It's zt vs zt, which we're pretty shaky at imo. I open 12pool, hatch at ramp, gas into lair first, ally is going mech, while the other guys are going 12p lingspeed first and mech. At one point in the game, I felt daring enough to make some more drones and throw my spire up, despite barely having any defense or anything. Seeing this, the other z decides to move out, hoping to strike me at a spire-building timing, but I catch him off guard with a sick flank and kill enough of his lings to force him into a retreat. We totally have the upper hand now, my mutas will be faster than his, and C- is as good as ours.
Until my internet craps out. FUUUUUUUUU-
My parents decided to do a little house cleaning, and accidentally knocked the power cord out of the router ><. Goddamit wireless!
So I feel pretty frustrated afterwards, but whatever right? It's just two games to C- now, ez. We host up, "2v2 D+ python"
Two polish guys join, both just hit C-.

Some guys from like, Mexico and Japan or whatever join.

Annnnnd just as we start the game... "Mexican guy has disconnected" >< so we host again. Maybe my internet is still being shitty, or maybe it's karma for d/cing out of game, but this really shouldn't happen so often.
A C rank guy from Canada joins our game. So does a 1100 point D guy.
"This good?" we ask the C guy.
"yeah sure"

Game starts, I split drones, send ovie to close position on python... and the C guy leaves.
This pattern of leavers and disconnecters and people with shitty internets continues to repeat itself for about 6 more games before we finally manage to get two real games in and hit C-.
So, 'cause leavers and disconnects are the woooorst, we thought we'd hit up tl for anyone willing to 2v2! If you're on iccup and down for a quick game, give us a shout/pm! We're barely C- now!
