Looking for a ride to MLG Raleigh

I live in Madison Wisconsin, my ride completely bailed on me last minute and I would still love to participate at MLG Raleigh. If you are driving out from the Chicago area shoot me a PM, I can pay gas and all that. =)

Dang, Joseki you're probably better off posting on MLG forums and hitching a ride with one of 1000+ halo players and thousands more people just going to watch lol, Since theres only 64 SC players most are probably out of the way or wisconsin or flying there.

Yea its too bad, I made a post on MLG as well. Figured I'd toss this up here just in case though! My friend was driving down from Vancouver CA, and something went wrong with his car and he had to bail last minute, kinda sucked! I was looking foward to the road trip with him.

Have you considered flying? You might be able to get a decent ticket (though last minute ones are really expensive). Taking a bus might actually end up cheaper than driving there yourself.

Yea, I looked at flight prices and was extremely displeased. Hitching a ride with 3 others or at least 2 wouldn't cost me more than 80$ total for gas, and I have a place to stay for free with a friend while I'm there. Incentive wise I'm fairly sure I'll perform well at the event, so I should be able to replace my travel costs regardless, so the plane ticket option is real.

I hate taking the bus, and I've taken the grey hound to MLG events for Halo2 in the past and its terribad. =)

With that being said, if the dust clears and I can't get a good deal on a plane ticket or ride, I'd like to sell my pass, so if anyone is interested in buying it off me tentatively let me know.

Don't bank on the fact that you'll make top ~5 to repay the whole thing lol. Gotta remember the names of who's going.
