ill screenshot if nescasary.
im using windows vista and if i turn off oscuros oblivion overhaul the arrows go away and the guards get bodys but they still have no armor on :x. i really dunno what to do so i thought id ask TL :D thanks for any help in advance

I had something similar to this before, it probably means that you installed OOO incorrectly. Are you using OBMM?

yes i am using OBMM and i did make OOO into an OMOD.
|
Could you post a screenshot of the mod load order in your OBMM? After re-reading your post, I think it might be a conflict between two mods.
Also, like the poster below said, try reinstalling OOO.
|
FCOM or no?
did u try running oblivion before installing and playing OOO?
Re-install OOO and you'll be fine
might also want to (if using Steam), verify game's integrity (checks the base files). if the guards don't have armor after u turn off OOO, your install might be fucked.
|
no FCOM i tried reinstalling OOO twice now. :/ and yeh it was working fine then before i installed any mods
and my load order is + Show Spoiler +Oblivion.esm Knights.esp DLCShiveringIsles.esp Living Economy.esp Living Economy - Items.esp Cutthroat Merchants.esp Harvest [Flora].esp Harvest [Flora] - Shivering Isles.esp

I understood the first post...and then it sounded like the US government with all those acronyms and stuff. Hahaha.
Hope you get it all sorted out. Oblivion is such a good game... must hunt down my copy!
|
well a friend told me UAC may have fucked my install over so im reinstalling it now again with UAC off. and if worst comes to worst and it doesnt work then its back to xbox oblivion :p. all these mods would be nice tho

what? o.o
|
OH YEAH! jmminy may be on to something. in OBMM, go to utilities>archive invalidation.
here's what your settings should look like:
Mode: BSA Alteration
File types to include: [x]Textures
Other options: -Ignore normal maps -Generate archiveinvalidation entries on hash collision
Then click update now. Also, don't worry about any grayed out stuff. Hopefully this works!

o.o well now i must wait for oblivion to finish installing xd but ill try that next.
|
did that and still nothing -----________-------- ugh i give up. xbox oblivion it is
|
lol, sorry we couldnt be of any help. oh well, have fun playing oblivion! great game even without mods.

question mark ?

i donno, ive never heard of anyone having trouble with oblivion before, so i assume its the programs you are using, uninstall that garbage, then reinstall the game if that "program" installed anything into the oblivion's install folder. that should fix it.
|
oblivion with all the great mods installed is possibly one of the best games ever, second only to starcraft too bad installing mods are such a pain
|
Your load order doesn't include OOO. Also on thepiratebay there is a torrent of an omod of FCOM. Pretty handy.
|
sort of sidetrack but oblivion of 2010 is a completely diff game from when it first came out, thanks to mods just one of the graphically enahnced (by mods) many scenes of the "new" oblivion (added by mods)
Uploaded with ImageShack.us certainly a contrast from the pic i took few months after the game came out
