Title no longer says it all. I've got THREE! free beta keys For people who do NOT have one already!
All you have to do is write me a nice paragraph of why you think you deserve the key.
I'll judge and give the keys tomorrow
GL HF
Edit: All 3 Keys have been given. Sorry to those who did not receive a key, I'm truly sorry I do not have more to give. I would have given out more if I had them...
Good Luck + HF to all.

I believe that anyone who does not have a beta key yet, but is willing to play the beta desperately deserve a beta key. I think that i deserve this key because I have played Starcraft 1 for 12 years now and would like to transfer on my skills onwards to Starcraft 2. Secondly, I believe that after giving my time to play Blizzard's games and continuously mentoring other (ie. dota, WC3FT ladder, Legion TD) that i should be a bit deserving of a chance to play the beta. Lastly, i think you're very cool =]. This is why i believe that i deserve the beta key.

EDIT: I retract my application, thanks to a very friendly TL user!
+ Show Spoiler +Because Starcraft is my childhood game that I can remember playing since I was 5. I remember one commentator saying that Starcraft was "the game your dad played in college", and it was actually true for me, (even though he had said it as a joke). From a very young age, I casually played Starcraft before church on Sundays, and just randomly to pass time. I remember getting up at 7 on saturdays to play a game or two with my brother before breakfast. I never really followed the proscene until one or two years ago. I fell into the random MMORPG scenes and haven't really played in a long time, until my friends had reignited my flame for Starcraft after they had discovered it, and we play it at parties and whatnot. I'm 14 now, but I have probably played more than I have in these two years than I have ever had in my life. Once I had heard that Starcraft 2 was coming out, I went super ape. I followed the site everyday to check for updates, and opted in when the beta came out. But alas, no keys for me! Blizzcons were also not an option due to me living in Canada. As for getting it from gamestop, my dad thinks it would be better to wait a couple weeks after it comes out for the price to get lower! (asian parents ) So this is just one of my last attempts to get a key. Most of the competitions are way too hard to win, because there are just so many people that want it more than me. I think I deserve it though Thanks if you pick me!

Maybe I don't deserve the beta key persay, but it'd definitely be something to look forward to.. I've been terribly, terribly bored these past few weeks, and every passing day just goes down down downnnnn since I have nothing to occupy myself with. So to find a virtual escape for myself, it's either Starcraft 2 beta or World of Warcraft. You can't sleep guilt free at night as a fellow TLer knowing that you potentially got me back on the digital, life ruining crack that is WoW.

I need a key since AP test are almost over.

Being (obviously) Korean, I discovered Starcraft at a very early age more than 10 years ago around the age of 6 or 7 when I was still in the early ages of elementary school. I have memories of asking my dad to start the computer and boot up Starcraft so I could spend my precious one hour playing on the campaign mode trying to beat the missions without using "power overwhelming". Later as I got older i dived into Battle.net along with some buddies in real life to play UMS's such as the old turret defense and sunken defense games. I can remember one point when I desperately wanted the 10 stars next to my name so I created 1v1v1v1 free-for-alls with my friends and allied each other so I could rack up 10 wins on Battle.net. As I got older, I left Starcraft for another Blizzard game - Diablo 2, as it was all the rage in my latter elementary days all the way into the end of junior high. I still got on Starcraft frequently to play 4v4 comp stomps (pros only, mind you) on fastest and begging my dad to get cable/dsl so i wouldn't be kicked by greedy hosts. I left Starcraft for 2 years only to rediscover the game along with the professional Starcraft scene. I knew it existed but the only progamer i knew was Boxer and i would try to copy his micro on my fastest games, using 2 tanks and a dropship to harass my enemies (on fastest). I discovered Teamliquid around that time and started growing a passion for the game i used to play as a 7 year old. When i found out that Starcraft 2 was coming out, i was so excited that blizzard was finally making a sequel. Beta came out, and i read up everything i could to prepare to dive into battle.net 2.0 as soon as i could grab a beta key. At this moment, i still dont have a beta key and I'm desperately trying to get a beta key so i can finally get to play the sequel to what is easily my favorite game in the world

I like Starcraft 2. I like keys. I like betas. Won't you help me realize my dream of combining 3 of my favorite things together?

I know that I already have a beta key, but I made sure to give mine out to people in countries where they couldn't easily have access to a key. I would like to nominate someone that, as far as I know, does not have a key and is from South Africa where it is not easy to obtain a key through any simple preorder of any kind.
'inforsomechop' has been constantly posting on my threads trying to get a key, but in the nicest manner possible. He is always saying something nice about the contest and the people that win, yet his post count is under 500 where he couldn't post on the Admin. Run thread where all you had to do was have over 500 posts and request a key to be given one. This guy has some real class, has been registered since '09, and if you don't feel that someone that is vouching for themselves is worthy of receiving a key, I would be honored to watch someone from the TL community give him one.
As a p.s., he has no idea I am posting this for him in any way possible, I have never spoken to him in a P.M., I just feel like he really deserves to have his own key for his kind attitude, and I really feel it's people like that will make TL grow even larger to a more robust and giving community.
Good luck to you all.

I need the key because I know I'm going to be the first SC2 bonjwa (besides David Kim if you count him). In like 2 years, you'll be able to watch e-sports on TV. Yes, I'll make e-sports so famous that it'll be on international TV. And when everybody in the world is going crazy about me, you'll know that you were the person who gave me my first SC2 beta key. Can you say epic? I'll even let you by the chairman of my official fanboy/fangirl (there will be many of them). WOW! How can you not give me the key?!

^ Oh wow that is awesome. Okay disregard my post! Very glad to see him get a key, even two!
Edit: Look at that thread, he got two keys, he is sharing one with his 5 friends that play (WHO WOULD DO THAT HERE? I don't think I would!) and he is giving the other to the community?
Dude.. that is.. amazing.

im asian, i will lock myslef in a room and only play sc2.

I can't say I've done anything in the past to deserve a key, but I'm an avid map-maker, and I'd love to take a look at what the SC2 editor is capable of. I plan on working at both melee and UMS, and of course I'd dedicate my first map to you if you ended up giving me a key. Thanks for the consideration!
