I learnt snowboarding all and well .. I got quite close to nice carving though I wasn't too comfortable at higher speeds. I think building up speed comfort takes much experience.
I had one fall where I had a good use for my helmet but outside of that there was nothing dangerous.
It's funny that my heel -> toe turns are better than my toe -> heel ones. I think usually the opposite is true for beginners.

As the blog title says.
This is a short Swedish film about a hobby (?) magician. It's 22 minutes long but I had more fun watching this than any other comedy I can remember now. Also the movie was nominated for Oscar in the category "best short movie".
I don't really want to write directly about this because it would spoil too much taking the length of the film into consideration, but this movie just touched me somehow.
Maybe the fact, that I really like magic enhanced its effect on me.
All the characters are really good. The pace is awesome, the humor is very nice and not offensive or that disgusting kind. I just recommend watching this for every one of you!
Also it taught me the magic word I can use when I feel down
