First only reason this is flagged NSFW is the source picture so don't go expecting furry porn or anything.
So I started talking about this here
I've decided that I will in fact draw her as a fox but I havent decided what markings she will have. I've been playing around with it and practicing and this is the most recent draft.
+ Show Spoiler +
Not a whole lot to share just sharing the progress so to speak thinking about possible names for her but still unsure. Thinking maybe Olivia, Lyvea or Alieah. Something along that general naming phonetic.
Hmm what else? There seems to be confusion about why I say that my identity has a strong female aspect to it. It's not just about playing female characters and it's not just about the way that I act in relationships. It's thinking about all of those things made me realize that I did have a strong female aspect of my identity. There was kind of a click in my mind and it made sense suddenly that kind of idea.
I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm transgendered or anything as I know a few people who say that and I'm not that far over on the spectrum. I'm still decidedly straight and that comes from being a male, just idunno it's hard to explain why I feel this way just that coming out and admitting it makes me feel like things make a lot more sense now. There's less stress on me in general like I'm not trying to hold anything in anymore.
Anyways names
Poll: Name? (Vote): Olivia (Oh-live-eeh-ah) (Vote): Lyvea (Live-eeh-ah) (Vote): Alieah (Ah-leeh-ah) (Vote): Other (say in comment) (Vote): I like em all (Vote): Why should I help you?

I liked the original picture better.

Looking good so far, very good for somebody just getting in to a particular style. I personally find the human hands/feet/face mildly awkward to look at on the fox body though. Any particular reason for that choice, or just the style you are going with?
|
Not so much a particular reason as it just didn't look right to me when I tried it the other way. I've been developing her via experimentation pretty much.

That drawing doesn't do her justice. The face has huge problems and it looks like she's wearing a fox catsuit

Yiff in hell plz. kthx. How dare you ruin such a beautiful photo?

Doesn't sound to me like you are furry dude, just that you've discovered you have a very strong feminine side, and you are embracing it with more understanding now. Maybe thats just me but then I really don't know much about furries. Either way keep up the drawing and good luck with it all. I don't like the name Olivia but the others fine btw

interesting..
Alieah is a really weird spelling, just looks like a mass of vowels.. I would do Aliya or Alia or Aliyah
|
I would go for the name "Renata" (reh na' tah). It means reborn, and sounds a bit like the French word for fox, "renard". I realize that it does not sound like the names you suggest but maybe you will like it.

Congratulations you are the first person to ever get banned from my blog in almost 2 years.

I think it's great that you're being honest with yourself and... everyone (this is the internet after all) about your feelings. I'd say your coloring on the picture is quite good, but the anatomy is kinda skrewy.
Anyway, good luck.

nevermind read the first blog.

that picture you made looks hilarious

Was that reference pic from Dr.H's collection?
Your pic is alright... a little oddly shaped though
|
shit i got a boner looking at the original.

i thought furries were anthropomorphised animals that retained the facial features of the animal, while simply 'catgirls' or the like were girls with cat ears and tail. yours seems like something weird in between.....
check out more furries on danbooru or something to get better at drawing them

Theres no real set definitions if you look hard enough you can find those and everything inbetween.

Yeah it's from Dr.H's collection again, it looked better in pencil I made a few mistakes while inking it before scanning it just need more practice.

i dont mean to be insulting with this, but the drawing is bad, could be MUCH better. the face looks unnatural
