A couple months ago I purchased a G9 Mouse. When I opened the box, I found there was a problem with the mouse cord, so I contacted Logitech. Instead of fixing the mouse, they sent me a new Logitech G9x! I'm selling it for $55 + Shipping within USA.
(By the way if you live in San Diego, you can come pick this thing up if you want to.)
It looks the same as a G9 but has a higher DPI (3200 DPI on G9 vs. 5000 DPI on G9x). Everything is new in box. Never opened. Comes with adjustable weights (to tune how heavy the mouse is), driver CD, and two interchangeable grips.
If anyone is interested, or wants photos of the box, let me know. For now, I'll just post these pictures of what the G9x looks like. (Update, box images below. Taken on camera phone.)

it facinates me how the logitech logo is straight on the curved surface... Don't ask me why, I'm interested in the most minor of details. Good luck selling yours! I've had a kensington PocketMousePro for 5 years, would never change.

I'm at work right now. I'll post pictures of the box later with my username. The pictures are taken from a website online. It's just to show people what it looks like. I have an interview later tonight, so I'll probably post them after 8 PM PST.

Why would anyone buy such an ugly mouse.

same reason for dating an ugly chick, great sensitivity

I suppose "adjustable weight" doesn't come into that analogy?

I was offered $55 already but the buyer didn't want to pay for shipping. Sorry, I should have specified USA only. Don't really want to ship international and deal with customs, etc.

I currently use one of these and its a great mouse. Definitely worth the 55 if this isn't a swindle.

I love the G9 myself, although I haven't used the G9x, but I'm assuming there's little to no noticable difference. I like the shape and it feels beastly. Being able to adjust the sensitivity on the fly as well as the color of the LEDs is also pretty neat.
I do think that the MX500/G5 has the best mouse-shape in the history of mouses, though.
edit: btw those stock pictures of it make me jealous, mine's so used and abused. =(

Yeah diff between G9 and G9x is that G9x is slightly better at tracking because of the higher dpi it does more counts per an inch.
But frankly mice like G9 G500 G9x are best when using outside of gaming i love frictionless scroll wheel(which for the G500 is a switch on the top to change it back to click for G9x you flip the mouse over to change it to click or no click scroll wheel) and side buttons for web browsing.
I actually like the G9 shape a bit better then G500 just because i use a wrist wrest(which actually is a palm wrest and my big hand just moves the mouse with my fingers(yes even when gaming i'm not gonna get perma wrist and handakes just so i can be top of my friends maybe if i was being payed but else f dat) so short and fat works great for me in that respect.)
