Anyway, I need some full time employment or volunteer work to occupy this half-year, per university orders. Pay is not an issue. Step one is sending out all the summer internship applications I was thinking about with a note saying "by the way i might be able to start a little* before summer actually starts"; it's probably not going to happen but fuck it, it can't hurt.
Failing that, I need something to do besides classes, which I will take one or two of. Where do I start looking? Something technical would be nice, maybe I can put the quantum physics or abstract algebra or whatever-fuck else I learned to a little bit of work. But volunteer work or basically anything else comes above flipping burgers or working retail but I *guess* I could do that too. I'm basically finished with a freshman year at a fairly reasonable college, so that's the skill level we're looking at.
I don't really know how to go about doing this. I was told this morning that I would not be going back. It's all very suck.

Okay, now that MSL is over (legendary game three) can anyone dispense some real advice? Even if you don't have any specifics advice for where to start looking would also be nice
