Your feelings on winning twice in one day?
I'm so glad I won both times but more importantly, I'm glad that my team won. However, the game didn't play as smoothly so I wasn't satisfied with my play.
Your first game was near perfect.
He played a strategy I expected. I guessed that he would either go all-in or extremely greedy, and I was confident I could catch up in a macro game. MVP missed some of his given opportunities and as a result I was able to win easily.
Was your Ace entry decided from the beginning?
When I saw that the ace map was Neo MoonGlaive, I suspected I would be sent out for Ace. When my Coach told me to practice on it the day before, I told him I was confident and practiced.
Were you expecting Zero to play in the Ace match?
I knew it would probably Zero. I practiced 90% TvZ, but since Free is also on Woonjin Stars, I also practiced for TvP.
You transitioned into Mech lategame.
It wasn't a completely new build. I wanted to use it since a while ago but yesterday was the first time I used it in a televised match. Before I went to sleep last night, I had resolved to use the build, but because it was my first time, I didn't play as well as I could have. In the midgame, I thought I was ahead by 8:2 but I got sloppy with my defense. Because I haven't used it as much my hands aren't used to executing it but next time I will show a much cleaner execution of it. Nowadays, once a Zerg gets 4 gas it's almost impossible for Terran to win and this build was specifically to counter that. I think we will see this build much more often now.
Was it a build Oov helped you with?
Usually all the Terrans in SKT, not just Coach Oov share strategies that are helpful, but this time it was all on my own.
How is your condition nowadays?
I slumped in December last year. I lost in the Proleague, dropped out from both Individual Leagues, and even went back home for a while. Because of those sad memories, I am practicing extra hard these days. Now that I'm on a roll, I'm a lot more confident and want to practice harder.
Flash's play recently has been astounding. Your feelings on that?
I do get jealous a bit when I look at Flash's state. However, instead of rushing to catch up, I want to steadily get to his level. Like Flash did last season, I want to practice with the aim to get better this season and then play excellently next season.
Your next opponent is Really.
I asked Flash to destroy Really's confidence yesterday while practicing with him but I heard Flash lost. I think I should practice hard and though I heard Really has been playing really well recently, TvT is a matchup I'm confident at so I wish to play a great game with him.
Any last words?
I'm really grateful to Mong for helping me practice. When I lost, I really learned a lot from him. I also want to tell SoO to cheer up win the next game as he's been losing a lot lately.

Your feelings on winning?
I'm relieved that our team won. It feels like I haven't done a proleague interview in a long time so it feels different.
Did FroZean's Odeng rush (note: wtf? I'm guessing manner CC) have a recent impact on you?
I usually prepare for all of the possible builds from the opponent but there is always one that I wish he didn't do. Frozean in this case did exactly that and although I did my best to defend, I couldn't defend it. Then when I suddenly saw his CC, my feelings weren't so good. Instead of talking about it, I will make sure I have my revenge in our next match.
You played Guemchi who you're 0-2 against.
When I lost the first time it was just a normal defeat but in the second game, I lost a game heavily in my favor because I lost my shuttle + 2 reavers. Because I felt I lost because of my mistakes, instead of focusing on the opponent's strategy and I just worried about not making any mistakes. My practices went well and before I played today, I knew I could win.
Both your main armies missed each other.
When I first saw that we missed each other I thought I was unlucky. But my expo was faster and I had more units so I knew I would come ahead in a head-on battle. Because I had reinforcements coming, I knew I could defend.
Your next match is against Action from Estro.
I played him about a year ago in the Winner's League but he's improved a lot recently. I will not let my guard down and practice hard.
JD/Flash have been playing amazing of late. Don't you feel like you should catch up to them?
Personally it's very regrettable. When I saw them play in the practice room and on stage with such a large audience, I wondered when I had played as well as them. After the finals, it will soon be the preliminaries and I will do better then slowly.
