... so the whole point of this post is to make fun of someone trying to learn Starcraft?

Not quite. I think the guy was screwing around.

Hmmm... Zergs at low levels on iCCup tend to have a tonne of problems. In all matchups with Zerg, I tend to be very strong on iCCup. TvZ PvZ and ZvZ all very easy for me even though I'm not a very good player. I think that Zerg's larvae system throws a lot of players off and unit composition has changed so many times in the past year that low level players don't know what they're supposed to be getting against what.

zvz and tvt are hard to learn. but i think newbies can cope with pvp pretty well.

zvz is not hard to learn, it would take a day to understand it fully. Its just that no1 wants/likes to play it.

If the game lasted 6m it's not the worst ZvZ build ever. I've played pub games where the opp zerg went 4 pool 3 gas 2 evo 1 creep, leaving him with no workers.

I saw a terran lift his CC and kill all his SCV's..
He was an obs though so it was actually a pretty appropriate approach.

On a pub once I was an idiot and put down a creep colony first.
Yeah, I suck...

Your opponent has nothing left, and you have one drone, and nothing as well. You morph that drone into a creep colony, and stalemate.
2. Your opponent nothing but four zerglings, en route to your base. You have 150 minerals and one drone, with only a hatchery left. If you morphed a creep -> sunken colony, stalemate!
Stalemates are fun .

agreed, should be named TheZerg build, after the success of it's creator.

I also don't think that TvT is hard to learn, but that's just me.

That's pretty uncalled for lmao

There are lots of people who play ZvZ, take a look at the first player on ICCUP for example, around 2/3 of his games are ZvZ
|
that's worse than when my friend 4pooled me and scouted with a drone so he could only make 4 lings instead of 6 because his economy couldn't support it
|
when i play ZvZ and im feeling a bit overzealous, i like to go the 2 pool, where you send your first 3 drones to harass and leave one to mine while building another drone. I've found that this counters 4-6 pools very effectively but fails hard against hero scv's
