So I sent in all my applications to three schools, Mount Allison and Western Ontario in Canada, and HKUST in Hong Kong. Everything is being reviewed by them right now, and the one I really wanna go to is HKUST. They require a 30 in IB while im predicted a 38 so I think I have a good chance of getting in. I also have a good mix of extracurricular activities including martial arts, tennis, different sports club, leadership programs etc. Although English A2 HL will waver the English language requirement, I also sent them my IELTS score which was an 8.0 while they wanted a 6.0.
Mount Allison is more like my safe school, while Western Ontario is sort of in the middle although I think both of their tuition and living expenses are quite resonable. HKUST is my focus and going to that part of the world is going to be really exciting. Any Hong Kong TL members advice on the environment? :D
UPDATE: Just got an unconditional offer from Mount Allison.

I hear Western is a great school. By that I mean it's got great school spirit, it's a college town, and the students are friendly. Academically, I'm sure it's pretty good too.
However, seeing as you want to go to Hong Kong, you must prefer the Chinese lifestyle to the Canadian one. I can only offer general advice: go where you think you can be yourself and have a good time

DRAGOON
HOW did you spend your birthday???? HMM?
And if you go to Western Ontario we can Hamachi in the same time zone LOL

London isn't really a college town, the university is concentrated in one part of the town, but the town itself is much larger.

Uni food should be subsidised and really cheap. You will feel quite tall, unless you're below average. Good luck, Hong Kong is a great place to live.

I actually attend the university of western ontario its a good school overall, really good atmosphere, residences are really fun too but, i hope you're going to western for its business school ie, your ambitions are focused toward Ivey Business school, because, thats the only thing we have going for us, with respect to international recognition. I'm here for science, but you can easily find a similar program in every other part of the world. but anyway, if you have any questions, feel free to just add them here

Wow I'm so jealous if you go to uni in HK. Seriously HK is really awesome you should enjoy it there. The only thing that takes getting used to is the weather imo, summer is just really really hot and humid. It helps that everything is air conditioned though.

Then applying to a Canadian university was a bad idea.

Well the lowest we got here was 3 or 4 degrees Celsius i think. However, most people from canada that came here say its colder here than in canada because the coldness here is mixed with moisture while coldness in canada is dry lol.
