also the best way to understand nietzsche is by reading plato, kant and schopenhauer. All of Nieztsche's work is in direct response to these three. if you have read kant or schopenhauer and are familiar with the transcendental aesthetic, and schopenhauer's concept of will then nietzsche is much more relevant. ill try to edit this for content and links later.
