They don't mix really + Show Spoiler + + Show Spoiler + + Show Spoiler + + Show Spoiler + + Show Spoiler +
My mother went out to rake the leaves and left the rake in the lawn, problem is our rake as you can see by those pictures is GREEN. So when I came out a few days later to mow the lawn the handle was laying over the BROWN dirt and the green blades are in the GREEN grass.
Short version: by the time I noticed it I was under a foot away and there was a lound CRUNCH! Shut off the mower and pulled back and the pictures were the result. I thought it was pretty god damned funny so I'm sharing.

It's certainly seen better days. I say you either give it a proper burial, or go Frankenstein and resurrect it. Either way, more pictures will be required.

LOL, i laughed, that was pretty funny.

I've done this too. Scared the crap out of me. I thought I ran over a chipmunk or something when it happened. How's the lawnmower though?

Ouch. I hope the lawnmower is okay too- those things are kind of expensive, and sharpening the blades is time consuming.
And I assume that you made it out alright as well.

That looks pretty creepy actually, you coulda decorated it like a hand and put it up for halloween. Good thing you're okay though, that would really be bad if part of the rake was cut off and flew and hit something or somebody.

There is always a fresh carcass on the street every day. Always.
