Ironically this same thing happened when they moved to a 3d engine for the first time. They moved the game launch to march back then so they could launch the 3d engine with the game.

Every edition of FM broke sales records, they had like 7 million copies sold at full price before discounts for FM24. They had more than enough resources to develop the engine in parallel for a year or two with another team. Not releasing a game this year is going to cost them a whole lot more than the people they should have hired. This is like when Game Freak uses the 'we are a small team' card when pushing out a buggy half baked Pokemon game. You have a billion dollar IP, hire more people.

I'm shocked, with the amount of money they must get every year, that they have to delay a game for this long. It doesn't affect me, but for the small number of fairly small but very dedicated content creators on Youtube who do nothing but play FM all day every day this must be absolutely infuriating. They aren't going to be able to keep their channels going in the same way without a new game, so SI would be better off hosting some events in the meantime to keep interest up, before the community starts to dissolve a bit.

I only buy FM every 3 years anyway, because i can update my own database in the between years as the game is mostly the same so this debacle is not affecting me as much as this is a gap year. However, what left a bad taste for me was the audacity of the pre order open a week or so before the second delay, amazing timing really xD

That was Kahn and Brazzos doing. I mean he was fired while beeing 2nd in the league, trailing 1 or 2 points and doing good in DFB cup (Ro8) and CL (Ro8). Putting Kahn and Brazzo in management positions was the single most idiotic thing Bayern ever did IMO

Pep is the new shiny rumor https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/crej4347wq0o They're saying that talks have happened, rather than it being a rumour: "The BBC has been told by two different sources that initial talks have taken place with German Tuchel. An approach was also made for Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola in the summer."
