I guess we will se but I do not think the return will be anywhere near what was repoeted this summer. Maybe Kyrie in a talented problem for problem type deal. Or multple "solid" players.

Still, IMO they should cease issuing him any checks and levy fines to the max. Some team eventually has to battle against this sort of player madness. Embiid seems to support the team, that should be enough.

And he was pissed at the twolves tonight. 2 nasty posters on KAT. Edwards dropped 48 in the losing cause but the headlines are Wiggins 35 and the dunks! https://www.goldenstateofmind.com/2021/11/10/22775721/warriors-wolves-recap-andrew-wiggins-steph-curry

Wiggins finally looks pretty good now that he's in his proper role as the 3rd (ish) option on offense. Looks like he's actually putting a little effort in on D too (which I think is more a byproduct of him playing on a team that's actually good). Still overpaid, but that is what it is, at least he's in his proper role now. Interested to see how well Klay plays when he comes back. Those are two serious injuries, and back-to-back? Sheesh... But if he can be even 80% of the Klay we knew pre-injuries, this Warriors team is a legit contender... Which teams do you consider strong enough to take on a healthy Golden State? I'm looking at their schedule and think the 10-1 has a lot to do with not facing of the top-tier teams in the NBA yet, but 10-1 is still impressive, and when Klay gets back they get better. Like, I dunno, I certainly don't see "a lot" of teams that could stop a healthy Warriors team right now. It won't be the geriatric society over in LA. Who knows if Kyrie will play at all this year for Brooklyn. After that... I see teams like maybe Utah, Phoenix, or a healthy Miami? I want to like this Chicago team but I don't have any confidence they'll actually be a threat. Maybe Milwaukee gets their shit together. Who do you have as contenders right now?

Hes more then putting in a little effort, hes taking on the top wing assignment and doing a great job. This will be important when klay gets back because he will still have his shot but he likely wont have as much lateral quicks which will hurt him on d. Green deserves a lot of credit for wiggins d because lowe articles always talked about him being solid at man to man and lost in team D. Green is ALWAYS talking which Im sure helps him immensely. Agree on the 3rd option, agree on the overpaid, but not terribly. A starting wing that plays every night (wiggins basically never gets injured so far) is worth near max. My thing with him was that he was not a all pro, not an all star but was a solid, young starting wing with upside in a terrible situation on an awful team takimg way way too much blame. I feel really good about that assessment. I also think it is very clear that GSW destroyed the Twolves in the russel deal. Not only is wiggins the better asset when they play, but russel has barely played and the GSW got tge second pick overall, jury is still very much out on Wiseman but what a robbery. Something is rotten in Min, because edwards looks real good. KAT is real good (though putrid on d). Yet they continue to be awful.

As for Wiggins, he's playing well right now. He isn't the first player who gets better on defense with a smaller role on offense. Even Kobe had substantial dips playing defense during the times when his offensive load was higher. Durant was better on D during his Warriors stint. Harden looks better on D with the Nets. These guys aren't robots and they get tired too. Curry is actually not shooting that well right now. He's at 43% for the season, which is low for him. They do have some role players shooting at unsustainable high percentages for them. So maybe that balances out once the role players start cooling off.

The biggest difference is that the Warriors are barely affected by the new rules emphasis while other teams' offense have gone down. Yes but against Toronto he is unreal. 32 points, 6 reb 3 assists a block. 12/20 shooting, 2/2 FT, 6/8 from downtown and was a plus 30. He always lights up T.O.
