looks nice, what is it a epiphone ? I myself have a BC rich warlock, its not much of a guitar but when i was young and bought it its looks impressed me, now im in the market for a good schecter or a ESP, but not until i change my amp, ive been playing close to 3 years now and all i have is the 10w crap i got with the guitar, thank god for effect processor software i have on my computer.

400 smackers, but it was a big combined birthday gift from my parents and grandparents so yippee!

also, i'm not musically talented enough to play jazz, but i really like the soft, jazzy, maj7 kinda sound so someone recommended it to me.

jazz isnt about talent its just if you have an enough time laying around to learn all the theory, but even if u dont want to spend that much time you can still mess around with cool jazzy chords (like u said sevenths) or just blow over some standards

Thats sick man. I play on a Fender Strat, which is amazing for jazz. But its my Dad's and it costs 900 dollars TT. I need to get a metal guitar though haha. Learn some mad shit yo.
