If it was too warm I would sweat and feel overheated. If it was too cold, I needed to put something warmer on. As it turns out, about the freezing point of water was the temperature where I felt comfortable while playing full court basketball (smaller than normal outside courts though) wearing a t-shirt and shorts. And no I was not fat. I was a little bit out of shape, but not terribly since I was playing basketball/racketball etc during college.
