These groups have races perfectly distributed, should be more fun to watch.

Is this true that the event is cancelled for the public and even if you show up you won't be allowe to come in the venue? I have the plane tomorrow in the morning to Katowice , damn!

Incredibly tough to predict, if things go as I think I would predict
C: INnoVation, Trap, Maru D: TY, Serral, Cure
but Patience and Solar can make it in C and maybe sOs is good enough again, and perhaps Lambo / Hurricane can surprise.

Anyone happen to know what the politics involved in this were? Like why did the governor decide to cancel the public nature of this event?

You don't want to miss this group D.

Obviously rooting for Serral and for the criminally underrated Elazer(I don't expect him to advance, he cannot defeat korean Terran but he could beat Solar and the two Protoss).

Inb4 Cure the online hero realizes that the audience is locked outside and proceeds to destroy everyone 10-0.

I really really hope Maru can get out of his group. I will have to sneak the stream during people oral presentations so probably no sound, it's really unfortunate tomorrow is so busy compared to today considering all the korean terrans are playing tomorrow

Looking even more bleak than usual for non-Koreans. If even Reynor can't make it out of his group, it won't be too shocking if Serral doesn't make it 1st or 2nd in his.

That suck, at least it's guarantee to come back to Katowice next year

"Corona" seems like the ID a korean b teamer would randomly pick.

Reynor did not, but he was replaced by Showtime; Special was one map away from getting to ro12. There are no signs of koreans especially dominating(it's Katowice after all), while Reynor definitely was very far from his best shape(last HSC, or even online qualifiers earlier this year). Incidentally, he admitted he did not practice at all for a very long time.
Reynor's failure has nothing to do with Serral, who is just as likely to advance as he always is.

I wouldn't be so sure about Serral considering his group. But it depends on sOs's form.

Where have you been in the last two years? Serral won eleven Premier tournaments, sOs reached finals once. If you doubt Serral, you have to doubt every single player all the times; this said, Serral could very well not advance but the last time he failed to so from was at BlizzCon in 2017.
