For a while TY was tempted by that BC's early build and he lost lot's of WCS points because of those brave moves in Code S Season 2 especially.

My delusion Group A sees Dark move on undefeated and SpeCial gets carried by the rematch curse. In group B the two terran prodigies ascends out of the grup, Maru and TIME beats the odds and makes it out of ro16. Group C gets smashed by the korean protosses, Classic and herO onwards! Rogue and Neeb claw themselves out of group D which turned out to be full of wacky weird games where everyone looked bad or worse. Yeah, how dare fans have favorite players, everyone should just be 100% objective with no emotional investment at all. Whats wrong with some of us being sad TY is not going, doesn't mean we didn't want Classic to go. Just that we wanted TY to go more, the forums is exactly the right place to show our sadness for something Starcraft related. Don't want to read it? Don't be here

Don't be here It doesn't seem weird to you, that on a forum about competitive Starcraft, people were cheering for a player who rightfuly qualified to be prevented from participation, in favor of one he had outperformed throughout the year? Maybe it's just me then.

Maru is probably our last hope once again. Special has a shot if he manages to beat both soO and showtime, it's a long shot but better than nothing I can see HeroMarine beating herO, but he'd have to beat either of Classic/Reynor as well so he is probably out TIME is out. Reynor vs Classic is gonna be interesting, super young foreigner prodigy vs old guard korean, it's a clash of generations.

My prediction and hopes: A-Dark(for sure), ?(ideally Special, but his shape is bad too. Maybe soO). B-Impossible to predict. It's still a weekender(or Code S like groupstages), so I would say Serral and Stats. C-Classic's shape doesn't convince me. I would go with Reynor and herO(unless the biggest of Gabes becomes huge). D-Rogue without any doubt, then Elazer(ZvZ and ZvP make his chances skyrocket, Trap seems to be in a slump and Neeb's PvZ have become worse throughout the year).

Maybe it's just me then. Actually I didn't see anyone cheering for Classic not to go, I saw several wanting TY to be able to go. Which are two clearly different things, the only way to do what you ask is if no one had any investment in any team or player and everyone had 100% logically objective perspectives. Isn't it natural that you want your favorite player/team to go play in the world championship? Maybe its just me then. Consider this happening in actual sports, NBA Miami heat moves on and Orlando magic is about to drop out. A technical reason pops up that might make it so Miami heat will not get to play in the upcoming matches at which point Orlando magic would take their spot. I don't see anyone ever blaming Orlando magic fans for hoping that their team can continue playing, even if it is due to another team that beat them fairly gets DQed. The overwhelming majority of Orlando magic fans would hope for their team to be able to get further, its the norm in sports to cheer for your team or players. But maybe you don't have any favorites? What are you an emotionless machine?

Considering the current balance situation and Maru's shaky TvT we can see 1) 0 T in RO8 (check the local prediction which are giving chances only to Maru and only some) 2) 0 Serral v Maru games 3) 4 Z players in RO4.

It's not. One is a positive style of cheering and the other is a negative style. While the result is the same the path to it is important too. One is light while the other is filled with hatred and leads to the dark side!
