The only real dispute I can think of might be ShoWTimE vs Scarlett but we would be arguing over seed #16 overall so not sure how much you want to pull on that thread.
What dispute? Showtime is a solid 650 points above Scarlett. Even if she played WCS Spring challenger and main event, her other results point to aditional points between 240 and 440. Still far away from the #8 spot

It's pretty brutal that (at least) one out of Stats, Maru and Serral will be out before the quarterfinals. And with Stats as the biggest threat to Serral in the whole tournament (based on past record) and Maru still the de facto best Terran in the world (despite underperforming in weekenders), there is a decent chance that player will be Serral. At the same time we're in a zerg favoring state of the game, so Serral has the power of balance on his side. (especially considering the recent results - 2 GSL, ST, WCS, GSL vs tW) And it's not like he himself didn't say so Well Maru just won a 25min war of attrition against Dark, both playing standard (Bio vs Ling/Bling/Muta) Yeah, how many games can you win like this in 3 BO5? Let's say it's just 3 3:0s, if every game takes 20 minutes we're talking about what, 3 hours of gaming? Are Maru's wrist ready for this? I believe they're not.
What are you saying? If you want to be champ you have to win a lot of games in row. If he can't do that it has nothing to do with your believe that Zerg is imba....

No hope at all. Honestly, as a Chinese player, I have the comprehensive acquaintance with TIME. His level is about 6400MMR to 6500MMR in Korean serve. The weak mind and the poor experience is the biggest problem for him. Though he has the well done basic skill and macro/micromanagement. Facing these three powerful opponents, I prefer to believe that he will lose because of the weaknesses above. He still has a long way to go.

My questions is: what has anything of that to do with Maru's ability to play 2-3 Bo5's in one day? You confuse me I haven't made the slightest statement towards any kind of balance. Maybe you should learn to read yourself...

Rogue didn't say anything about ZvT being imbalanced in zerg's favor.
Serral only said that Zerg lategame is advantaged only if Zerg plays perfectly....who plays perfectly? In the same statement he also said it's very easy for Zerg to lose thanks to ghosts.
TvZ is terran favored imo. Including lategame. And maru is a TvZ monster. Meanwhile Serral's biggest wins were mainly at the expense of Protoss and Zerg players.

I don’t think exhaustion is going to be the factor, it’s just a really difficult, high risk, high reward kind of style that’s really unforgiving and you can’t really make too many mistakes at all, whereas your opponent has some wriggle room.
The odd time in tennis or golf a player just goes for it and plays for the risky shots and blows their opponents away, but it rarely is sustainable over a full match/round, never mind a full tournament.
I think Maru’s got a shot for sure, but not if he tries to play for the lategame every single game. One of his sets against Ragnarok was probably the best lategame ZvT I’ve seen in quite some time, but Serral and Dark are a step up again.
Very excited to see what everyone brings to the table anyway!

And Dark played that game with mouse only? I get the argument per se, I just don't understand why it only applies to Maru. Sure it is rather ominous that most of the prominent cases of wrist issues are Terran ( MVP, Taeja, Maru), but I think if you play a taxing and close game, both parties are rather exhausted
EDIT: I mean it IS the group Bonjwa , chances are that the winner of the whole thing is in that group, so everyone has to play their best right from the getgo

According to recent tournaments, top zergs almost never lose to terrans. The opposite is not true.

Theyre doing it in droves.
Dark lost to Keen in the lategame just now in code S s3.
Time beat soO in the lategame in GSL vs the World
Heromarine beat elazer’s lategame WCS summer
Heromarine vs reynor (i think he did it a couple of times vs reynor, the one i remember was wcs winter though)
special vs reynor in gsl vs the world
soul vs lambo in WCS challenger
soul vs reynor in WCS fall eu qualifiers
Masa vs scarlett recently in WCS
Heromarine vs lambo in wcs summer
Soul vs namshar in sc2 royal
Then you have the early 2019 games like Gumiho beating Serral in IEM and Fantasy beating Leenock in Code S S1
