Yeah, how dare fans have favorite players, everyone should just be 100% objective with no emotional investment at all.
Whats wrong with some of us being sad TY is not going, doesn't mean we didn't want Classic to go. Just that we wanted TY to go more, the forums is exactly the right place to show our sadness for something Starcraft related. Don't want to read it? Don't be here
It doesn't seem weird to you, that on a forum about competitive Starcraft, people were cheering for a player who rightfuly qualified to be prevented from participation, in favor of one he had outperformed throughout the year? Maybe it's just me then.
Actually I didn't see anyone cheering for Classic not to go, I saw several wanting TY to be able to go. Which are two clearly different things
It's literally the same thing.
It's not. One is a positive style of cheering and the other is a negative style. While the result is the same the path to it is important too. One is light while the other is filled with hatred and leads to the dark side!
Not gonna lie I wouldn't be particularly sad if herO won the lotery tomorrow and quited Starcraft to go live on a private island.

Dude, this is a happy day! What got your panties all in a bunch?
Maybe TY will still be there at the caster desk, cursing people left and right ^_^
Implying korean casters can cast blizzcon
The Ro16 is played in the GSL studio. Don't you think there will be a Korean cast? O.o

GG TIME, you had a good run. If you make it back in time, you can still cast ro8 matches in Shanghai But seriously, it's going to be a fantastic series this year. Serral meets Maru so early too, finally!!

Poor herO, from "the good hero" to "the bad hero, that prevented TY from going to blizzcon"

You need to work on your logic circuitry.
I hope Maru wins Blizzcon ≠ I hope Classic loses
Maru can't win Blizzcon unless Classic loses but saying you hope Maru wins is literally (you should check what that means btw) not the same as saying Classic loses.
I could say I wish the end of the world would come, which would literally not be the same as saying I wish you died. Even though we cannot have one without the other.

In this case, I don't think you can say that if you actually read the comments people said.
This thread is about Classic finally confirming he can go to Blizzcon, a spot he rightfully earned through great performance all here. Not only that, we spend most of the year thinking he couldn't even go. The fact that he can go is really great news. To come in here and be "very disappointed" that TY isn't going and not even mention Classic in their posts kinda shows the obvious bias there.
The fact is: if you wanted TY to go, you were hoping Classic wouldn't be able to due to a technicality. Which is fine, cos honestly I would've preferred TY to go for entertainment sake and having an extra terran is always nice. But coming into a "Classic able to participate at BlizzCon" thread and saying nothing about Classic but expressing disappointment about TY not being able to go, well that literally means you were waiting for news that would've prevented Classic from going to Blizzcon. Again, if that's how you feel, I have no problem with that cos you can cheer for whoever you want to. But let's not pretend that hoping classic can't go, and hoping TY can go are different things in this situation when TY can literally only go due to Classic being prevented from going.

You either die a hero or live long enough to become an adept all-inner

I don't really get the issue. In both cases (Classic can go - Classic can't go) people are gonna be disappointed, because Classic going prevents TY from doing so, and Classic not going means Classic doesn't go in spite of being one of the top protoss in a BlizzCon where everyone fears a 3+zergs ro4.
Most people would be fine with TY + Classic going instead of Classic + 8th spot herO, thus saying that you are disappointed that TY doesn't go doesn't mean you'd not be disappointed if Classic couldn't go.

But it's not the same. If people are sad that TY can't attend that doesn't mean they want Classic to not go. Especially if you use the word "literally". You're implying your own view on the posts. The posts say - it's sad TY can't go. Nothing more, nothing less. And I'm ignoring the negative/positive relation.
Feeling good for classic to participate so we are able to see maru vs serral game that we are wanting for, also feel bad for time with such a little chance of go into ro8, probably will see him casting ro8 in Shanghai
