https://github.com/bobo38/TheCoreLite Change summary: – Space can no longer be used for unborrow due to conflict with command card (now burrow and unborrow are available for all ground zerg units apart lurkers) – Decloak switches from 4 to Space due to Stukov's infested banshee – oracle ability reshuffle for pulsar to mimic cloak/decloak – many unbound fixes => campaign kerrigan ability reshuffle mostly and change in coop ignite afterburners – side effects: Nova mission pack new issue => lib siege and yamato gun Space alternates are broken some testing before next release, some work needed to adjust README.md and clean up bugs | ||

- Space now used for cloak and pulsar on (v2.3.3: F) - F now used for decloak and pulsar off (v2.3.3: 4) Due to infested banshee and zerg burrow/unburrow incoming implementation, we reshuffle like that: Space is accessible with thumb and may be better for fast access or queuing. Energy draining ability are still lower position | ||

Lurker burrow is both Space and 4 (4 is an alternate): so that either key works! Space is 1st to be random friendly (siege tank similar siege key is Space, and unsiege is R just like unburrow), and optimized. Space cannot be used as standard burrow because of spell caster like infestor and ravager for whom Space is useful to land spells More generally Space is used in most of the command cards, it's the primary key for all useful spells/abilities because your thumb is always on it. Lurker burrow is one of the time critical abilities to be bound to Space Currently working on Terran keys optimisation "select worker/halt" ergonomics, "liftoff/land/techlab/reactor" and some other changes, it will be released as TheCore Lite 2.4. Before that I am in clean-up, maintenance and hotfix mode to support coop changes, reported bugs and upcoming patch | ||

As the author already noted, the weakness is the position of the Ctrl key (a bit for Alt key as well). Suggestion to improve: rebind Ctrl and Alt to gaming mouse buttons. I also change camera binding to Ctrl-4/5/E/R/D/F/C/V. Thus eliminating all hand movement. Hope the author take into consideration to create a gaming mouse specific layout. | ||

TheCore Lite is in maintenance mode, no big changes expected. I want to keep supporting all existing keyboard layouts (maybe some new if effort is limited), all modes (campaign/coop) with priority on ladder. About gaming mouse specific layout, you are encouraged to use TheCore Lite as a baseline, from where you can further customize your setup Sharing your setup on Discord channel or anywhere over the Web is cool from community dynamics etc… In case you've done a change that you think would benefit to all TheCore Lite users, please file a bug on TheCoreLite GitHub repo, or contact me directly (so that I file the bug). | ||
