The mappool used on Americas Server Stage 1 and Stage 2 will be the current ladder map pool, the one that includes Abyssal Reef, Ascension to Aiur, Odyssey and Battle on the Boardwalk.

But Serral can have Maru in the quarters, ZvT is Serral's worst match-up, so Maru can beat him even though it will be played on EU. Nerchio is going to have a hard time, not only he has Harstem in the first round, which is doable for him but way not granted. He also have Showtime and Ealzer later who are his nemesis for the past year and even more. If Nerchio falls to the losers bracket he will still have to play Elazer or Showtime (as they are most likely to meet in the qualifiers match of the upper side of the bracket and the loser will fall to the losers bracket will wait in there), as well as Maru or Serral who can beat him as well. I guess Nerchio's hope is that after he loses in the quarters Maru will lose to Serral as well, but will win of Showtime vs Elazer, so that Nerchio will face Maru in Nerchio's best match up, but in a Nerchio vs Maru on EU I think its 50 50 (though if Maru loses to Serral earlier, then may be Nerchio's chances will be a bit higher). I think it will be Elazer, and the 2 of the following 3 (Showtime, Serral, Maru). If I have to bet then its Elazer, Serral and Maru.

Maru forfeited KR qualifier #2 due to illness, so I doubt that he's in top form currently.

In a normal match Maru is the clear favourate. But the ping difference from KR to EU is ridiculous. No chance playing bio against lingbane (and Maru isn't a big proponent of mech right now)
