Heading into the penultimate day of SSL Premier, Stats, Classic and Dear looked to solidify their positions atop the standings, while INnoVation and Solar faced off in the final match, both intent on notching a second straight win to keep their hopes of a late charge into the playoffs alive.
aLive took game one with a siege on ByuL’s third and fourth, but ByuL evened the series on Abyssal Reef. A lowered supply depot allowed lings to penetrate aLive’s main in game three, while a hydralisk based push into his third proved to be the final ingredient to ByuL's first victory.
Classic punished herO's gate/nexus/core with a pylon rush and oracles before dark templars put a swift end to game one. herO doubled down with a gold base on Overgrowth, but Classic weathered harassment before taking the match with a stalker/immortal/warp prism push.
Maru went up 1-0 after his mine drop/liberator harass killed 25 of Stats’ probes. Having endured waves of widow mines in game two, Stats opened two base colossi on Whirlwind, but Maru managed to snipe his forges with a doom drop before closing things out with bio/viking.
Dear’s archon/charge timing took game one, but it was the second, a game in which Dear killed more than 33 of Dark’s drones and dictated the pace with a storm/immortal push and zealot harassment, before sealing the deal with a mothership and tempests, that clinched the series.
Solar’s ultralisks were unable to crack INnoVation in the first game, but they ran the Terran over in the second. Hellions killed ten workers in game three and, while Solar fought back, he was unable to stop INnoVation's bio/mine style and dropped the match.
To the delight/dismay of many, Stats mines are back…
Looking like a fight between Inno and Dark for the playoffs spot. Hope Dark gets it personally, not because he's better, he just needs the WCS points more

It's true that Inno is already guaranteed Blizzcon while Dark isn't (and will probably be knocked out of GSL by soO/Rogue) but I want to see Inno defend his title.
Realistically I would also favor Inno over Classic and Solar over Dark for next week.

I wonder in case Dear lose 2-0, Innovation and Dark both win 2-0 then among three of them, who will qualify?
