HyuN, along with a full team of LoL players, has left JAGW. He was the most recent recruit for the team having joined in March of this year.
Jin Air has stated that despite the end of Proleague they are committed to supporting their SC2 team and it will continue to run as normal.
Jin Air's current line-up: Trap Rogue Maru sOs Cure Creator

Maybe he's going to retire? He's pretty old for a pro gamer

Likely. He has to do his military service.

Only Proleague team left to support sc2, and people are already making disparaging comments about a player like HyuN leaving? This is why this community is so disappointing... HyuN's almost 30 in a game that's physically and mentally demanding, it shouldnt come as a surprise to anyone HyuN has decided to leave; regardless of his intentions to retire or to join foreign team.

JAGW is still a strong team regardless though. They still have sOs, Maru and Rogue to form a strong core. And Creator/Cure isn't that bad either.

Arent mvp still supporting their roster?

Afaik the didn't say they'd continue to support their roster, they just said they weren't disbanding (as opposed to Kespa's statement)

28 I thought?

I was wondering when HyuN was going into the military just yesterday given that he's 28 and guys like Polt and Bomber who are the same age as him have already enlisted. Sad to see him leave but it's a necessary evil.
Best of luck HyuN!

Off season roster swaps for LoL

I'm glad Jin Air is making that commitment to keep them playing. I hope the scene turns around for these players.
