I had a similar experience with a girl i met in class about eight years ago, only she rejected my proposal when I eventually plucked up the courage to ask her out. many years and many relationships later but I still think about her every day. in my head I think I've turned her into the only person I can love, lol, still can't seem to get over her. but hey I am still glad I took the risk and asked otherwise I would be plagued with the "what if?" for the rest of my life.

She is extremely extroverted, while I am extremely introverted. I never understood the phrase, "opposites attract" until I met her. also cool

I am in a similar situation to you and couldnt believe I had found someone like her. I think the most important part is the communication and willingness to work together, I know that has really helped my relationship. I wish you the best of luck! You are right about the communication and working together. Making sacrifices for each other. I wish you the best of luck too!

It's really hard for me to find someone on the same level as intelligence as me. With that being said, she is the smartest person I have ever met. Her love for physics and deeper thinking has made me think and question things on a whole new level. intelligence isn't a single level. some of the best craftsmen i've met are poor abstract thinkers and vice versa. i had a 2 year relationship with a woman who has Michael Buble as one of her voice/singing students. she has zero sense of direction. she is off-the-charts brilliant in one aspect and below average in another.

This is what I hate. When you have a choice like that, you can either choose to live a life of "what if?" or live a life of regret. Both choices are equally horrifying to me.

I think your response is weird. He obviously appreciates the sort of intelligence she has, whatever "level" it is. btw singing skills and sense of direction aren't usually considered as intelligence.
