Nobody knows me, and I post even less than I ever used to, but I thought I'd share images of my current progress on the Napoleonic French army I've been painting up. I have designed my army to build towards owning enough figures to make up both sides of the Battle of Talavera de la Reina, 1809, using the Grande Armee or Blucher rulesets.
The figures are all 10mm Pendraken sculpts, except for the Spanish Cavalry who are Magister Militium (also 10mm). So far I have 275 figures painted out of the planned 625 for the French army, which will be followed by 325 British and 455 Spanish for a total of around 1,400 figures. I have been painting them as a side project while I do my Masters degree so painting the army up is taking longer than I expected, but I do think they are already starting to look good as a mass, despite being only 40%~ completed.
I hope some of you will enjoy the figures!
The Army on my shelf
The Army as a whole
The Left Wing
A close up of the Spanish Light Cavalry I finished today
And some select infantry bases
Thanks all, I hope the images come up right.
