I hope his results will help Liquid realize he's a worthy player to have, even tho they weren't initially interested in the classic FGC and they got him through the Curse merge.

There's numerous amazing players that are "free agents" in the SF4 scene right now. Especially someone like Infiltration who has represented teams before and is also Korean (fitting with the "theme" I suppose? was discussed a few pages ago lol)
Solid investments. Especially since right now "sponsoring" in the FGC just means "send to events", probably a relatively small cost compared to the rest of the Liquid operation right now.
What platforms are fighting games played on nowadays? I prefer to play on PC, and see Steam has a bunch of it there like Tekken X Street fighter etc. Also, I have a MadCatz TE Round 2 for PS3, is it now possible to make it work on pc? I hear a lot of stuff about a certain type of USB that it needed to be plugged in. I also have a regular Hori Real Arcade (ps3), and it seems to be a lot of solutions on the net for that one atleast. Fucking PS3, never will I have a console again, wasted to much money on that crap and never used it.
And are there any fighting games newly come out that are the new hot shot?

Yes you can play on PC I don't believe the SfxT is as populated as the xbox version ( http://steamcharts.com/app/209120 ). Although though. I believe most people use http://www.motioninjoy.com/ and here is a tutorial http://www.gamefront.com/how-to-use-a-ps3-controller-on-a-pc/. GGxrd is new but since you don't want to play on ps3... I think a new version of Blazeblue came out on steam last month and not sure of what else. You could join the Fightcade community ( http://www.fightcade.com/ ) and play most older arcade games online. edit: didn't know motion joy had any security issues disregard that.
Motioninjoy is pretty bad imo. It has the ability to download and execute stuff just like a trojan. I don't know if it does that or what it uses it for, but it's probably better not to risk it. XInput Wrapper is worth a try, not sure if it works with fightsticks but it might. If it doesn't, just google 'motioninjoy alternative' and it'll turn up a bunch of forum threads with other options
I just wanted to let people know that if you are at all interested in learning fighting games James Chen is a god damn genius https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL858F4C6F3C3B9612 . I have a friend who has been struggling with certain parts of his game and he finds great help in listening to Chen's understanding of his situation (feeling frustrated etc). The only problems I could ever find is when he is commentating and doesn't know something specific about a character. Otherwise his experience with fighting games mirrors the development of my thoughts as well.

Haven't played since 5.0, but game does feel like a lot of fun. Been labbing atm with Steve and my pitiful 50% ratio EWGF Kaz lol.
I haven't turned on my PS3 since I moved and broke my TV. Thinking about getting the Asus "Evo" monitor here at the end of the month. I have been wanting to play some Tekken/Xrd so badly lately it hurts... you don't know what you got until it's gone
I am down to play some Cyber Bots on Fightcade if you're down though. It looks pretty fun.
