1st place at Capcom Cup gets 125K. Gawtdayum Easily one of the funniest videos I've seen in awhile, with a FT5 at the end to boot!

Seems like watching Poongko OCV entire teams in team tournament is always hype, and also a pleasant surprise to see BrTalrog from here make it into Melee top 16! Sako also won Xrd too. Can't wait to check those vods out.

In general, does anyone know how good west coast is at Xrd/GG compared to the east coast? EC seems to have more players at least.

And is JWong still the top player since EVO?

And is JWong still the top player since EVO? tbh there haven't been a whole lot of changes or major discoveries in the game, just lots of slight optimizations on the already top tier characters (clockwork's vergil is probably the best example). ZMC is still absolutely a top tier team, it's just gotten a bit harder to win with than it was a couple years ago because people know how to deal with vergil better, so you can't rely on cheesing out wins with XF vergil anymore. A lot of the former top players looked shaky over the last couple months, but as the tournament season continues and gets more and more packed, we're seeing a return to form. The biggest thing that would stop some of the top players (Justin, Chris G, PR Rog) is the existence of CPT and possibly MKX. CPT makes SF4 significantly more rewarding for them to practice over marvel, and Chris G has always been big in the NRS game scene. Thanks to CPT, I think this is the best time for either a new player (like we saw at FR and WB) to break out and start winning, or for an already top player that doesn't care about other games (fchamp, yipes, flocker maybe?) to really grind it out and become the best as others split their focus.

I have to watch the vods for this. Also says Kazunoko won using Sol, but I swore all the SF4 players who messed with Xrd used Eddie (I thought he won FR with Eddie too).
