TvT is 50-50; I would rate Flash as favored vs Life; but yeah, Zest is the biggest obstacle. If they meet in the finals though, we have a KT win guaranteed so it's not bad at all.

man at IEM Shenzhen, Snute loses to Jaedong in round of 8, 2-3
now at IEM Toronto, losing to Flash in roundof 8 again, 2-3...
almost there but not quite...
also IEM Shenzen had a foreigner in the top 4, but here in IEM Toronto we dont have any foreigner in the top 4
are we regressing instead of progressing?................j/k.....................................

He's probably the best foreigner out there, no joke. I doubt any other foreigner can go toe to toe with flash.
I think why snute tried for early aggression in the last 3 games is that he felt that he would not be able to handle flash's macro in mid game (during transition) if he went even with flash, so he probably wanted some early advantage. If you remember in game 1 snute was able to get a cancel + runby, game 2 snute was still slightly ahead at the start and when the engagement happened and he barely stopped the push. First two times he probably thought that he could take an easy win, but the last time he was probably desperate already. Honestly I feel that snute should have tried to go a pure macro game against flash at least once, considering he was already 2-0.
Sadly Flash had enough of being exploited, and unlike him in 2013 where he got baneling busted every single TvZ he stepped up his game and won the series. he crushed that push, i think if he sticked to his guns, he might have beaten flash. he was so confident in his style before the series, losing confidence in yourself is the first step to lose a game. Wouldn't say he crushed it, he had only like 3 swarmhosts and few zerglings left in the end. If the mutas were not there (at the flash's main) he would have been pushed back. That's a critical part of his style though; he uses lings/banes with the swarmhosts as a buffer/extra damage and uses the mutas to harass at the same time. Saw it against herO multiple times and I think a major reason Scarlett lost when she tried the same style was keeping her mutas with her swarmhosts. Gotta take out those reinforcements so you can slowly move your SH siege line forward.

Don't have to thank us retards in the thread Snute we didn't organize the even we just watch it. That was one of the most intense series ever and a foreigner was involved. GG sir.

Hi Snute, well played despite the defeat! Can you tell us why you didn't go with a macro SH style after game 1?

tbh i was surprised how well did Snute played through entire tournament, he's going to be my personal MVP of this tournament, very well played, I hope it still wasn't his best, and he's going to show us a lot in future! Snute is the best foreigner atm and one of the best Zergs in sc2 atm.
Flash, well it's Flash, I glad to see he would achieve something in sc2!
