It was still an amazing run, and you should be damn proud of yourself.

You put on a fine show. Want to explain why you didn't use your SH strategy?

Holy shit snute. Even though he lost it was an insane series. He's probably the best foreigner out there, no joke. I doubt any other foreigner can go toe to toe with flash.

I think why snute tried for early aggression in the last 3 games is that he felt that he would not be able to handle flash's macro in mid game (during transition) if he went even with flash, so he probably wanted some early advantage. If you remember in game 1 snute was able to get a cancel + runby, game 2 snute was still slightly ahead at the start and when the engagement happened and he barely stopped the push. First two times he probably thought that he could take an easy win, but the last time he was probably desperate already. Honestly I feel that snute should have tried to go a pure macro game against flash at least once, considering he was already 2-0.

Sadly Flash had enough of being exploited, and unlike him in 2013 where he got baneling busted every single TvZ he stepped up his game and won the series.

he crushed that push, i think if he sticked to his guns, he might have beaten flash. he was so confident in his style before the series, losing confidence in yourself is the first step to lose a game.

Wouldn't say he crushed it, he had only like 3 swarmhosts and few zerglings left in the end. If the mutas were not there (at the flash's main) he would have been pushed back.

That's a critical part of his style though; he uses lings/banes with the swarmhosts as a buffer/extra damage and uses the mutas to harass at the same time. Saw it against herO multiple times and I think a major reason Scarlett lost when she tried the same style was keeping her mutas with her swarmhosts. Gotta take out those reinforcements so you can slowly move your SH siege line forward.

I guess thats why snute is not like any other zerg. That decision to send the mutas into the main was definitely a smart one and a damn good one. Any other zerg would have used the mutas to defend the push and then get steamrolled by the infinite amount of flash reinforcements.

I may not be the biggest fan of your style, but I have to admit you just keep getting better and better - and with this experience you'll probably grow stronger than ever before.. Thanks for a great tournament I'm looking forward to your next one.

Dammit. Had to leave when snute was 2 games up. It seems like I missed a great comeback.

I dont know if you are reading, but I was casting the games and I think when you actually would have gone 0-2 into 2-2 , that you could have taken the series. You played brilliant. I really believe that 2-0 into 2-2 hurt you more than it should have. Still an amazing run. You are one of my favorite players ever, I grew up with Flash so I cheered for him, but you deserved to be in the semis or finals just as much - if that means something to you from a Flash fan

You put on a fine show. Want to explain why you didn't use your SH strategy?

He did it in game 1, and he tried in game 4 even if he was already impossibly behind.

Dude you just earned the title of the best foreigner. You went toe to toe with flash, the god himself, and god damn going toe to toe with him is a great fking achievement in my book.
Wish all the best to you in the future tournaments and good luck

Meant, why didn't he play passively and transition into it?
