I've got all but one player confirmed, which should be soon. You may be surprised at some of the names as they are rather well known. I'll be casting from replays with my son Brayden which should be fun. I'm a little worried that he may lose interest so I'm keeping the streams to a minimum which will include 3hrs or so on the Saturday and about another 3hrs on Sunday. Hopefully it works out and he doesn't get up to leave in the middle of it. I'm getting pretty excited and hope it goes well and we raise lots of money for the hospital.
I'm trying to find enough money to go to RBBG:Detroit, I've already registered as a player which was only $40. I can't seem to find someone to split a room with so hopefully I can get some cash together so I can make it down even if it is by myself. I really don't mind, but it would be nice to spend time with someone. Someone had mentioned to me about doing a vlog while I'm there, which I've been tossing around in my head. It may be a good idea to have something to remember as it will most likely be my first and last participation in a major tournament. It's sort of a bucket list item for me, and I'm looking forward to experiencing it and scratching it off my list. After the CHEO tournament I'm going to play as much as I can in hopes of at least taking a map of someone. That would be a really special feeling for me.
Lots of things happening in the next month for me so I'll be writing again in September after everything has calmed down.
