I'm not stupid, and I know a lot of things, and that included a lifetime of experience only few people in this world has really gone through. ... is so laughably arrogant, you have no idea. Get over yourself. The sooner, the better (again, trust me from personal experience).

Those statements don't exclude themselves, you fail at basic logic. It seems to me that you are not willing to accept that you can be wrong in anything, that is very unhealthy, and definitely not smart, through it can be sub effect of being smart, and ego that is created as result of it.

Firstly, pagan is anything non-Christian in a traditional sense, as that's the origin of the word. Secondly, as stated many times, a church is not limited to Christians. Thirdly, sacrificing animals is not something that all "pagans" do. And if you were as smart as you say you are you'd realize that while good grades may not reflect genuine intelligence you should "get smart" and just make the grades if you want to go anywhere in life. But yeah, agree with the rest. Highschool grades reflect performance through effort, not intelligence, kind of like KeSPA :x and you'll soon find that just being "intelligent" is not enough to make you successful, but working hard can. Combining the two is obviously the best choice.

It is important to practice humility and compassion in your life. Even if the girl is misusing the word "church" (and it sounds like she is not), it does not make her an idiot. That is a semantics issue, not truly an issue of intelligence. Your comment about sacrificing animals comes off, to me at least, as very rude and judgmental, although maybe you were attempting to be humorous (very risky in this particular case). The fact is, many Wiccans and other pagans practice an extremely peaceful and compassionate way of life, full of respect for other people and other life (if you know so much, why don't you know about her religion already, hmm?) Please, stop being so harsh and judgmental (maybe this is part of the sadness you experience...) and practice compassion and humility - for one thing, when you live this way, other people are much more sympathetic and eager to help when you complain about how horrible life is and that you don't know how to relate to other humans and so on, which I recall you doing just last week. Your arrogance in this blog is very off-putting, and Teletubby is right, when you are in highschool, good grades or not, high IQ or not, you just don't know as much as you think you do. Nick

Agreed 214%. Life's gonna dropkick you in the balls one day and you'll realize you don't know shit. Then you can make a blog thanking eveyrone here for telling you what an arrogant dick you were being. You never stop learning in life.

My logic deos not fail , I don't know everything about the church subject/topic nor was I aware there were churches created to harbor non-christians or people of diffrent faiths, therefore my assumption was perfectly logical. I wasn't born in the United States but in Great Britian. I was too young too remember any experiences I had because after my little life there, I subsequently moved to Bangladesh where I lived for a lot of my life. I then moved to China, where I lived for 5 years. I moved to the U.S recently and its the first time living here for me even though I have visited here before. In conclusion, in regards to religious practices in the U.S, I do not know these basic facts that should be known, and thank you to those for having the maturity to kindly inform me. Also, I'm not a keen fan of religious practices/beliefs, so I do not deviate to learn about these things from my normal time. Second, the fact that some of you put effort just to humilate and insult me on my burst of arrogance, for your satisfiction, proves that you guys are just as childish and stupid as me when I wrote that post. Which leads to that you haven't A) learned anything from Highschool/matured from highschool B) Didn't learn too many small patient related helpful things because it was not relative to your personality or you deemed those things/lessons insignificant thus leading to your grande assumed cliche glorious triumph over me, OH MERCY!!!!!..........NOT!!! uh thegreatbeyond you're the idiot and if you didnt get the garage analogy you're also an idiot Obviously I get the analogy my good sir. Now returning back, the girl could have used much more better examples then that horrible analogy because there were so many things diffrent in that comparison. She had the option of choosing a much more pragmatic example, but instead she chose a stupid analogy that would most likely correspond to the idiots in my class to make herself seem rational. Conclusively she made an effort to demonstrate her "power" over those who dare to question her reasoning. In her mind she assumes and believes that the observations she has made of our society and her moral character relative to those observations is somehow superb and necessarily unquestionable when moral and rational reasoning is put into place. She also believes that insane people are born insane, and she cannot accept a flaw in any of her analogies, views, moral character in response to the grounds that a question were raised questioning her beliefs as sheepish or conformist. She constantly puts effort that her views are sane and unique, and anyone who rationally thought and viewed our society in our school while sighting the intricate flaws and holes that needed fixing, their views would at best be in relation to hers/or same hers. I don't have respect for people whom rely on sheep/mob mentality to either higher their ranks or higher their self-esteem/control over others/ to win arguments/ to win battles, which she did partly. From the grande finale of our fiasco, It seemed, she felt a little better and victiorious when her social reinforcements came while I was forced to drop it. It was possibly in her view, a surrender.

It is true, you drew some criticism that was maybe overly harsh or silly. This is TL.net, tho, and if you come off like a bigshot, people are going to chew you up here. Is that good? Not really, but that's how it is. You came off unbelievably arrogant. A sincere apology would do wonders, and I think that if you apologized sincerely, you would have a lot of respect, because we all get a big head sometimes, and everyone fucks up, but few people have the testicular fortitude to admit it. Humble yourself! I'll tell ya something else. There is a good quote about how one of the most important, and most difficult, steps in spiritual development is giving other people permission to be stupid. I think this is true. Think about it. Peace. Nick

If you actually did read all of this, sorry if I offended you, it was not my intention. Seriously though, this statement is just way off. Assumptions based off really limited knowledge are..meh. Also, even if the assumption is "logical", posting them around may not be. In the case of this particular statement, it makes you come off as the many things you say you aren't.
