Night Four
Towards the end of the day, Holyflare, WaveofShadow and Gumshoe met in a service corridor.
"I don't think I trust TheChyz any more," said WaveofShadow.
"How about we search his quarters for the gun which shot Vivax? Then we'd know for certain." replyed Holyflare.
Gumshoe agreed, and so the three went to do so.
They tore apart TheChyz' room for a good half-hour. Their search was fruitless, until:
"Well, look what we have here..." breathed Holyflare, holding out an antique revolver he had found at the bottom of a drawer. At that moment TheChyz walked in.
"What are you doing in here... and what have you done to this place?" he asked in perplexity.
"Shoot him!" cried Gumshoe. "End this nightmare, once and for all!"
Holyflare brought up the gun, and took the shot. <BANG>

Endgame
Excerpt from personal log:
Dear Diary,
There are so many ways to say what must be said, but I think dear old Freddie said it best:
"We are the champions, my friends
And we'll keep on fighting till the end..."
And we'll keep on fighting till the end..."

Setup
The idea behind the setup was to see what happens in a game where town has no way to protect influential townies/power roles; hence no doctor or jailkeeper. I thought this would have a large effect on the game, so the town roles were overall quite powerful besides that.
The setup might have been slightly better balanced with a 1-shot Detective rather than a Parity Detective, but it's an unfortunate fact that one must think "If a townie or two gets modkilled, is this setup still playable?". I think a 12p game with these roles would still be quite balanced... 11p would be stretching it. Having both a 1-shot Detective and a 1-shot Vigilante would front-load the power of town a lot, meaning that scum would either be fine after night 1 and likely win or get completely wrecked, and I don't much like that as an idea. In the end, the Parity Detective provided less utility than a 1-shot Detective would have done, so there's that too.
In the end, I think this game was won and lost by behavioural analysis, not role analysis - and that's the way I prefer in a normal mini.
When I was originally thinking about this game I was considering including masons; however, after the clusterf*** in LXIV I thought better of it, and decided I'd just put these rules in as a precedent.
