It was another success last night as I peaked at 35 and had about another 20 new followers. I had viewers constantly linking me replays that I would go over with them and everyone else live, and it was a lot of fun.
I'm toying with the idea of making separate "shows" or "segments" on my stream for example Day9 does his "Newbie Tuesday"....but I don't know if I want to do that yet. I think just having a consistent stream is important at first and keeping it fresh in terms of variety of content.
I think I'm going to bounce between streams such as a straight ladder night for myself with analysis of course, to a "let's help the new players" stream, to maybe some team games one night. It looks like people are really starting to get sick of just watching people ladder, and I don't blame them. You could only do that for so long.
Again, this is what I like about doing a stream. It's almost like a research project, trying to find out what people want and how they want it. That is just as much fun for me as playing the game is.
I guess I just wanted to write about how much of a success these "newbie nights" have been and I'm really happy people have been receptive to them.
In terms of the team we just recently announced a new HearthStone team and it's pretty exciting. I guess these guys are really good, I don't really know them but I'm sure my chance will come.
It looks like it's going to be a big year for us, I kind of need a distraction right now from IRL so this couldn't have come at a better time.
Not that anyone is really going to read this, but I just want to "say it out loud" that I really appreciate all the support and the effort people put in to follow myself and my stream. I try to make it as best I can for you, and I'm so happy that it's grown this fast so thank you.
