Hello, readers of TeamLiquid.net.
We are now recruiting Pixel Artists, Graphic Designers, and Video Editors!
We all know you love ESPORTS.
You're the first to cry foul when someone is hurting it... but do you think you have what it takes to help ESPORTS?
Or maybe that doesn't matter to you. Maybe you just want people to fear you. Can you handle that kind of power?
Show us.
Graphic Designers
Yes, even though we tweak the graphics at times we know our site still looks a bit old, but don't take that for a sign of poor taste. We consider great graphics to be an important part of our site, whether it means having epic banners in our news posts, sleek images on our front page, or cute icons for our distinguished users. For lack of a better way to put it, we enjoy how cool it makes the site look. With the ESPORTS scene growing by the day, we have found ourselves in need of more skilled artists to help us continue to creating high quality work.
The following examples demonstrate some of the excellent news art created by the TL graphics team:
- God of the Battlefield – by disciple and HawaiianPig
- A Lesson In Dotalinguistics – by fusefuse
- Liquid`Dota 2 – by fishuu
- TeamLiquid Legacy Starleague – by HawaiianPig
- IEM Singapore Preview – by Meko
- Pony Tales issue #6 – by shiroiusagi and Lip the Pencilboy
- TeamLiquid error pages: Elly the ESPORTS Elephant – by HawaiianPig
Pixel Artists
Additionally we are in need of people to help us with pixel art, for places like the team boxes on posts, user icons, Liquipedia icons and other small touches that make the site sleek. Here are some examples of the kinds of small art we are using now:
- Liquipedia coins – by jhNz (and gold edited by salle)
- Starcraft race icons – By mystery artist
- Community news game icons – by HawaiianPig
- Susie’s user icon, whatever it is – We thought this was Kennigit but now we don't know
Video Editors
Finally, we are also looking for a looking for a skilled video editor who can help us increase the breadth of our coverage by adding in small video pieces for our Youtube channel. These would largely helping cut together features such as our StarCraft and Dota Q&As as well as piecing together highlight reels to help enhance our written coverage as well as stand alone as entertainment pieces.
