I'm also pretty bad at the game - I used to play some 4v4 games just for fun when WC3 was more popular, but I'd be interested to learn some 1v1, too.
That said, I'll create a name on Azeroth (as my old one is probably long gone ) and try to hop on when others are on!
No worries, you're not alone! Pretty much the same for me, the few 1v1 I played back in the day was in LAN with friends and we were pretty bad haha. Still getting used to 1v1 myself. Streams and casted games on Purebe's channel have been a good start to get an idea of esch matchup. Feel free to pm me, we can play a few practice games, nick in Azeroth is HellZ.
As far as the clan goes (since I don't want to lose my fingers...) I'll be pretty much available the whole weekend.
YES! I LOVE this game! I've always thought it was the best RTS game ever made. I loved the story and characters, and it still has the best custom games.
I've sunk more hours into this game than any other. Stayed up night after night laddering and plaing line tower wars, hero wars (the best), and a couple RPG customs.

The best were: wintermaul, burbenog, castle defense, sheeptag and of course dotA!

If you have a good group, LoAP is awesome, but it requires actual RP to be fun, so if you get randoms they just fuck around and ruin it
Cool interview! I love ToD, he was always my favorite player. I'm actually disappointed that he says SC2 and WC3 are on the same level for him, I honestly don't believe he feels that way. I think he still likes WC3 more.
I've added your name to the OP, iNCuBuS_. For your question, I don't believe they have scheduled streams. You can pretty much be sure that there will be a decent amount of streams on Saturday because of ZOTAC though. Otherwise, Lucifer streams fairly often, usually in the evening (his time, South Korea). Most of the other streamers are Europeans and stream in the evening (their time also) as well, although not on a daily basis. It's probably your best guess to try and check the streams in the middle of the afternoon your time for the European streams, and end of morning for Lucifer.
For all the others, we could try to be online on Azeroth tomorrow, Sunday, at 4pm Eastern Time? It seems like a decent time for everybody, both in the US (East & West) and for Europe. So, try to be there, and if we have enough people we will make the clan.
Played a couple of 4v4s now, just to get a general feel of things. I'm pretty bad, but at least I have a general idea of how stuff works, so it could be worse.
Have been playing on Northrend though because its just more comfortable to play.

I work two jobs currently, but I'll hop on when I can and sit in the teamliquid channel in hopes of seeing someone
For tomorrow, I have work during the time posted, but I'll hop on at some point anyways and see who's on!
Thanks for the tips on when the people stream. I'll try to look out for them.

DO IT!
We are getting a lot more activity now, I'm very happy with that. Honestly though, anyone who played WC3 before (seriously or not) and anyone who has any interest in the game should go for it.
To this date, WC3 is still the greatest game I've ever played. WC3 RESURRECTION!
sorry I couldnt make it , I got work at this time , and I dont live in a country that includes sunday in their weekend (my weekend is friday + saturday)
I've been playing Warcraft III(1v1) for the last ~6-8 years and i'm glad that there are still people who start playing it, so if someone needs any help to get into the game or just wanna practice you can send me a pm.
To see what streams are online just go to readmore.de and look at the stream list on the left side. The streams listed by "spieler live" are pro/semi-pro streams but most of the "user live" streams are good too.
account name on azeroth: hindsight2020 race: human (but i can play all races on decent level)
Little reminder: we will be making an attempt at creating the clan in about 4-5 hours, between 4 and 5pm Eastern Time (UTC -5). For European, that means 10 to 11pm. I say "attempt" because it is unsure whether or not we will have enough people to make the clan. In either case, I'll be there, and I hope we make it!
