I don't know many clan names on Azeroth. Clan DkK always seems to have a bot on though. And yes, WC3L clan wars were amazing. NGL-One too. Such nostalgia!

I would start off on bnet, the hacker issue on bnet is highly overblown. I play on bnet as well and only encounter a hacker probably 10-20 percent of the time max. I am also watch a LOT of streams of wc3 here are very good players who stream: WhiteAndNerdyyy (Undead): http://www.twitch.tv/whiteandnerdyyy Ente (Undead): http://www.twitch.tv/justagozu Cechi (Undead): http://www.twitch.tv/cechi1 DkHRain (Undead): http://www.twitch.tv/dkhwc3 DkHPain (Undead): http://www.twitch.tv/dkhpain StarShapedSTHLM (Night Elf): http://www.twitch.tv/starshapedsthlm SKHoT (Night Elf): http://www.twitch.tv/hazyfoggy InquisitiveHawk (Human): http://www.twitch.tv/inquisitive7 DHC.Prado (Orc): http://www.twitch.tv/pradogo And SoSorryman is def worth mentioning. He is a good player and very popular caster. Normally he has the most viewers when casting Zotac Cup. His link is: http://www.twitch.tv/sosorryman great post! just downloaded w3arena.

Thanks for the enthusiasm and creation of this thread, WC3 needs to make a resurgence since ppl are looking for another game cause SC2 is kinda getting boring :/ BTW: If anyone has any questions about strategy or basic builds go ahead and ask. I have a lot of knowledge in every matchup, Ive been playing this game since it released in 2002 :D If I can't answer I'm sure others can! @ Salivanth I would def say that for beginners HU is hardest then UD then Orc then NE being the easiest. 2ndEDIT: Also OP another website that shows upcoming WC3 pro matches from leagues is readmore.de on the sidebar on the right for any wc3 matches coming up theres a wc icon(Or there's an option to filter game matches.) It'll tell you when some of the pro matches are being played and what the stream url is. It's not an english website, but of course it can always be translated in your browser. 3rdEDIT: Also it's worth mentioning http://www.waaaghtv.com/ It's like a program that allows you to watch WC3 matches through the game client. Kind of like how Dota2 does it.

edit : nvm, starts on the 14th as stated in the post! @netio welcome to the thread! Thank you for participating! As I said, most of us play on Azeroth but at this point I'm not sure where everyone wants to play. w3arena is a good option, it just lacks people. Perhaps this thread can help bring more people there. YY is also great though, even though I have spikes on it. Mostly I wanted to use Azeroth to make the clan and use a realm where we can actually gather, as I do not think we can do that on the other servers. The thread is good to talk to one another, but something like a clan will make it easier to get a hold of everyone more quickly. I'm open to suggestion really, if people think GArena is better for that, it could work as well.

Not so sure about that | ||

Ted won WCG last year, there are 4 Undeads in the CHinese qualifier groups and Th000 seems to play Undead now vs Human. outside here in Munich, leaves are getting red and yellow. always reminds me of Warcraft3.

I have been trying very hard to get people to give a time and day when they would be available, but virtually no one has answered so far! If you don't give me a good time for all of you to be available to make the clan, I'm going to have to start chopping fingers.

No spikes or anything, but it takes a good 1-2 seconds until my orders go through. Very irritating.

It was so confusing to me, creeping, the attack types / armor types circle (rock-paper-scissors) style, when to expand, the 'hard-counter' list, or even the cheeses.... guess I played too much bw lol If we had a day9 kinda figure to get us started in 2003, I wouldn't have this problem -_-

I'm also pretty bad at the game - I used to play some 4v4 games just for fun when WC3 was more popular, but I'd be interested to learn some 1v1, too. That said, I'll create a name on Azeroth (as my old one is probably long gone ![]()
