It's the twitch version of a troll face basically.
Ka ...
yeah its one thing to see in a chat box and a complete other to see in a forum :/
Best way to pad your post count if you care about that kind of thing though. Glad the mod team is gonna start working on it.

Is the sup son face considered a twitch face? I mean it definitely originated in twitch chat in relation to how it is used on the forums, that is for sure.

digging the icon kbb. although i'd have chosen an off-color yoshi

I don't even get this "kappa" shit anyway.,

Damn right glad to see this happening.
Twitch chat has to be cancerous...

Good change. What's wrong with regular emotes anyways

Coming back from a little hiatus - its good to know but I would never be one of these posters

Not that I have anything against this about banning for using twitch emotes on TL but I ask what sort of examples of it being something that should be curbed as in some sort of abuse. I mean I'm looking to get a laugh out of some sort of past abuse of these "known" now ban-able emotes.

For those who don't know what it's all about, here's what they look like
And here's a page with all emotes: http://fiddle.jshell.net/JVv3K/show/ Move your mouse over an icon to magnify it.

I never understood what most of meant. "kappa" face, I see face with no meaning behind it. They do get a little annoying for me even in twitch chats.

User was temp banned for this post. We almost made it to page 7, I am actually quite proud of this achievement. Why are you proud, you are a banling. You don't feel proudness, just banlingness. We users and staff members of other areas are the ones that are allowed to have such feelings as proudness. You banlings are here purely to ban and linger around until your next ban. Feelings are overrated for ones in your position and as such you are limited to having only the feelings of love and hate towards those you ban. To even claim that you feel proudness is to show a wanting to be something more. However, that something is so far out of reach that to claim it as your own would be to be something other than a banling. Think of it this way: Users - Caterpie Banlings - Metapod Other staff members - Other Pokemon Moderators - Butterfree Admins - Mewtwo As you can tell, you are the useless hardening Metapod that only Tackle and String Shot when they feel like it. String Shot - Warning Tackle - Bans of various damage. Codonbyte used Stealth Rock! Pointed stones float in the air around your side of the field! + Show Spoiler +
Edit: I know the thread is over 3 months old, but since it is stickied I figured it would be okay for me to post in it.

This chat has more "Kappa" than any other chat... Well done lol.

Since this thread already got bumped I don't think I'll receive a warning for posting here.
I received 2 warnings today due to the twitch emotes while I was posting on the Gamescom IEM day 5. Just wondering where can I find info on how many warnings I can receive before I get banned and will it be permanent or temporal? And if it is temporal, how long usually it takes to get unbanned?

We don't have a set number of warnings before you get banned, or designated ban lengths. It is much better to plan to receive no future warnings or bans, of course.
